  1. Yeah we obviously would be best off with an owner change so we're kinda just sitting around waiting for Tepper to stumble into the right hire or draft pick. He's playing real life fantasy football/gambling with human beings. At least he's not at the combine!
  2. Yeah, I mean we need every position so bpa all day. I didn't find this past college season particularly interesting so I'm just gonna wait til we pick guys and look them up. I guess once we see what happens in free agency we can get a better idea of needs and start diving into the mocks but until then theres nothing to really pick apart aside from the staff media appearances
  3. They just started doing press the past couple days so people are going to have reactions lol. Since we don't have a 1st round pick and pick 33 is probably bpa even mock drafts are pretty fuging pointless this year
  4. People maybe don't realize if we lose Burns we're down to DJ Johnson and Barno lol. Isn't YGM even a FA? If we lose Burns it's basically a rebuild wasting away our QB's rookie window. The offense sounds like it's not gonna be designed to come back from a point deficit
  5. Interesting, I dunno much about him but he called it before the draft so respect. https://saturdaytradition.com/ohio-state-football/2023-nfl-draft-nfl-insider-explains-why-cj-stroud-is-his-lone-qb-with-a-first-round-grade/ Despite those projections, one NFL analyst has Stroud as the only QB in this year’s draft class to receive a first-round grade. That group of QBs includes likely No. 1 pick Bryce Young, Anthony Richardson, Will Levis and Hendon Hooker. The analyst is Merril Hoge, a former NFL analyst for ESPN who joined the Dan Patrick Show to discuss the major aspects he looks for in a QB: “You’ve gotta process (and) decision-making. The process and decision-making aspect and accuracy have to be that combination,” explained Hoge. “If you don’t have that, you have a big problem, one of those things if you don’t have it is going to run you out of this league. (Stroud) does have it.” While Hoge feels Bryce Young shares those traits, he went on to dissect how Stroud’s arm strength and durability outshine what Young brings to the table. Many analysts have praised Young for his creativity when plays break down, but Hoge believes Young doesn’t have the arm strength or durability to make throws from a dirty pocket in the NFL.
  6. Canales literally just said yesterday that he's not an offensive guru, and went on and on about being stubborn about the run game. I think we'll see the same sub 200 passing yard numbers again this year unless he finds another cmc to inflate the numbers with yac
  7. Maybe Tepper is going to have some regional bands concerts in his 5k capacity venue
  8. It doesn't specify which Head Coach either...Wouldn't be surprised if it's players trolling Tepper for being an asshole while not jeopardizing the good staff members in general
  9. Sounds like he's planning on it being soley based on yac. I assume after watching film of Bryce trying to throw it more than 20 yards down the field he decided run plus dink and dunk is the best option. We'll still be facing the same problem of defenses squatting within 20 yards of the line of scrimmage til we get a new QB
  10. Plus Canales wants to call plays on top of learning on the job...His head is already spinning and he hasn't even had a practice yet. And he was pretty honest about it, and about the fact that he couldn't afford to turn the job down, "betting on himself" and whatever. Saw that money and said sure I can fix Bryce! lol
  11. Yeah he's not selling me on the whole working around the limitations of the QB. Like aside from the stupid ass trade Bryce shouldn't be locked in as the starter whatsoever. He should have to compete with Dalton and whatever late draft pick/udfa/fa guy they take on as a project. Sounds similar to how Rhule was coddling Darnold, how he didn't have to be the guy, just a part of the offense.
  12. Not a fan of building the whole offense around Bryce. He's basically taking the long way in saying that Bryce is going to be a dink and dunk game manager with hopefully a decent run game
  13. Didn't watch just going off tweets. Dunno if I can stomach a full Panthers press conference anymore
  14. So sounds like we're going to try and run a 10 year old Seahawks offense but without the scramble/deep throws that actually made it interesting. Every time Bryce rolled out Wilson style he just threw the ball out of bounds instead of launching one
  15. You can technically run play action from shotgun, it's just not as convincing. Almost more like an RPO with pass blocking instead of run blocking. Either way If he truly believes Bryce doesn't need a big fix we're screwed
