  1. Canales took it himself probably because he couldn’t turn down the money. So far having an owner with limitless cash hasn’t benefited the team in any way
  2. Yes. Or both lol. The psychos usually are
  3. Yeah he didn't actually make great adjustments coaching wise, I'm just saying those dudes got everyones attention at halftime. Can't get much worse at that than Rhule or Reich though
  4. Not sure if he has the ability to light the fire under anyones ass at halftime like a Rivera/Wilks style dude. Although he does kind of creep me out so I could see him having a super dark side for better or worse
  5. I mean if it wasn't for hiring a buffoon for HC and the general impatience, grabbing Teddy and drafting a rookie to sit for a year or two could have been a fine strategy. Wasn't a great class in 2020 but we skipped on Jalen Hurts for YGM in the 2nd
  6. So what wasn't good enough in 2020-2022 would be great now? The bar is so low
  7. Damn why'd he have to throw in a clip of CJ's significantly better velocity? lol. Almost none of BY's throws are on a rope, most are dive bombing as they get to the WR hence the lack of Yac on a lot of them. Even if it's only a couple yards if he could hit these guy so they aren't going to their knees just to get the catch it would make a big difference
  8. In addition to BY fixing his footwork and all that, This offense will need a lot more under center calls to be convincing and BY still didn’t look very comfortable with that even late into last year. Sanders sucked but who really know who was handing off the wrong direction, the lobs to interceptions after faking the hand offs, just wasn’t good
  9. And about 1000 yards of fug it, scramble yolo balls. I don’t see BY slinging it like that when the plays break down
  10. If you wanna read through some bucs fans post season thoughts there were actually some helpful bucs fans on this topic. Basically Canales is consistent with being super positive and charismatic but wasn’t thought too highly of with being stubborn w his play style
  11. I wonder how long they keep this Jack Plumber guy around. I guess they needed an arm for rookie camp but it’s an extremely underwhelming option even for a qb3
  12. Yeah, in those highlights in that situation sure he was getting a decent ball 35+ yards in the air with his feet set decently. Conversely if you watch a game like Texas 2022 when he was getting consistent pressure all the bad footwork and inaccurate throws come out. That game was the major red flag for me and so far that's what we've seen week in and week out
  13. Some of his footwork issues are definitely tied to his height/size however you want to say it. Mainly the hesitancy to step into the pocket when there's pressure, the bunny hopping which inevitably gets his feet parallel. The latter also affects his timing, when he does see an open guy he's not ready to throw so he either uses all arm or wastes time resetting his feet and the ball gets out late.
  14. Care to elaborate? 20 minutes of BY film is a lot to digest
  15. We'll see, they're still coming in around 15 in the power rankings on most sites, we're obviously in the 30's. If we swapped QB's yes I'd give us the win lol.
  16. And a new offensive line with -Austin Corbett- at C? Running some kind of zone I believe
  17. New (old) coach in Harbaugh, Herbert with Ladd Mcconkey as his new slot guy? I don't think it'll be a cakewalk. They went O-line in round 1 as well so we'll have to revisit this after preseason
  18. His success will for sure come down to his footwork, and that's a tough thing to correct/bad habit to break. You can work on it all you want in practice but once the live bullets start flying most guys just go back to their old tendencies.
  19. It actually might light a little fire under his ass. He's still coming off way too laid back for my tastes.
  20. If only we'd invest in some actual talent at the qb3 spot instead of a guy Louisville fans couldn't say goodbye to fast enough. We could have gotten a better guy in FA, this dude didn't even get ranked on most top 30-40 qb prospects for just this draft class
  21. Well he did move Bryce up from 38 to 34 this year..I suppose his next tier of 25-30 will be out in a day or two
  22. Next question is does he rank Dalton above Bryce again? Or is Dalton off the board now? Last year he had him top 30
  23. So where does the trade up come into play in this? I think Goff was the only other major trade up for a QB at no.1
  24. Mina with the good eye. 28-3 happy hour. Might get a W with that qb drama over there and overall questionable team
  25. Burrow, Luck until the retirement, Goff just signed a new contract this week. That's something. Actually Jameis is the only one out of the still active 7 that's not a starting this year. Cam and Luck obviously not technically in the league
