OK Caleb Williams
-
So the Bears offense looks like what ours is supposed to look like. Run heavy, quick shots and creative plays. Caleb does look like he's processing a little slow though.

Whoever that Jets qb3 is just dropped a dime for a td
-
Good point, this is the same Jets team we're meeting up with next week. Noted
-
Jayden Daniels with a 40 yarder on his first pass...
-
Ah a real feel of 101 degrees great idea to practice in the middle of the afternoon
-
Here it is from a week ago
-
And at 1pm the moment of truth. Does this guy suck or not
-
Commanders-Jets at noon. Maybe we'll get some Jayden Daniels and Sam Hartman snaps. Two rookie qb's on the same team
-
I thought it was at 11. Maybe they decided to let them sleep in after that late night flight home Thursday

"What's crazy is, he's super-positive, you know?" Matthews said with a grin. "He's very intentional with his words, and there was a point where I think it was 7-0, and we all know that we want to string a drive together for the offense, and penalties were killing us, and we had a couple of guys go down. And there could have been a lot of things said, but at that moment, I heard him say to (director of coaching development and culture) Scott Cooper, he was like, 'How about our defense right now?'

I'll be getting ready for work during the practice so whoever has time to post have at it
-
If we're playing our 3rd string QB they better be the best wildcat option in the league that can also launch it 60 yards standing still. Screw the playbook
-
Good point, he's probably like 3 steps ahead of Tepper in discussions and knows taking the HC job here would destroy his future when all he has to do is sit back and make formidable defenses out of nothing until he gets the right opportunity.
-
Obviously no relation. Jack Plummer was the backup qb equivalent of Reichs HC tenure. Zero vibes and just as boring interviews
-
I'm sure if he was named HC he would have found the best OC available for the team. He isn't an old school Rivera/Wilks DC, he knows exactly what the opposing offense is doing and he would have picked the most challenging OC for him personally. Oh well
-
Evero as HC with someone Evero thought would make a good OC would have made way more sense in hindsight. Evero has the 3rd stringers ready to go and his head is not spinning from the pressure at all. He's probably kinda bored and sitting back watching knowing he could handle all the practice scheduling and roster management on top of calling the defense

It would be tough getting a lot of decent tape on Dalton in preseason if Bryce doesn't take a huge step up. I dunno really what they want the optics to look like right now. They surely can't continue the "Bring Dalton in for a qb sneak" strategy of last year and expect anyone to feel optimistic. *I apologize if I have offended anyone in a minor criticism of our QB situation in advance*
