I mean Embiid, Giannis, and Steph were all drafted by their current teams. They attract free agents from being in good GM/Coach situations. Lakers and Nets are playing that Superstar free agent stuff and it's kinda working but not a lock for a championship
Martin in that last stretch put in more effort than all starters. Obviously they're over Borrego and comfortable with job security. A good coach would have benched PJ and Monk for these bench guys a month ago to send a message
Who isn't replaceable besides Melo and Bridges? Took Batum's shitty contract and handed it to Hayward who plays 20% of games. Coach can't force the guys to make shots but they gotta be trying to get him fired. No team shoots 30-35% for 2 weeks in a row
Especially with 33-34" arm length, he's got the low gravity and the reach to punch. That could be why they like the idea of Center as well but it should work at either
They gambled knowing he would sign from senior bowl coaching and the Trent Scott connect, but I would have grabbed him above the LS and Hoskins for sure
If being the backup center this year gets him on the roster I'm good. As soon as someone gets injured they'll throw him at guard, he'll maul and the rest will be history.
Are they actually going to monitor people's vax records? Grocery store customers etc are going to be a nightmare but private workplaces I guess it depends on if the boss is anti-vax or a normal human
Unless he looks bad at camp (which I doubt) I wouldn't risk Moore to the practice squad, someone will sign him. Maybe inactive for a while before someone gets injured which usually takes 2 games with us.
