  1. Yes maybe we'll take Evan Neal, but Rhule will insist on him losing 15 pounds, and then spending 6 months getting used to playing at his new weight.
  2. Oof that's some big names in there. He might get clowned on NFL live for that, yikes. How can Tepper put up with this
  3. Keep the trade backs in place, take Creed Humphrey instead of TMJ, Trey Smith instead of the Long Snapper and the rest of the draft/trade backs are good. Slater/BC or Brown/Creed/Trey/Moton as the line of the future was sitting there for the taking. Never gonna have that fall in your lap ever again
  4. Really not sure what he gained by going on there. Then the Wilson guy was like "I think people misunderstand Rhule because he's so positive". What? What about his Slater/BC arm length comments, QB carousel, constant lying and scapegoating give you an optimistic vibe? He's been in survival mode since like week 5. He's like the dude you don't want on your walking dead/apocalypse crew
  5. Yea between the Slater comment, BC actually playing decent but getting no commitment to LT because of 1", scapegoating Joe Brady, the night and day QB support between Cam and Sam in the pressers...It all looks bad to any potential player or coach. They're gonna have to pay extra for anyone coming in and that just sets a weird tone for all involved
  6. Cool we're paying Sam almost $20m and Rhule isn't committed to starting him lol..He's your guy you gotta roll with him
  7. His critiques of players combined with his coaching skills isn't gonna help him attract any decent FA's ever again
  8. "The process doesn't mean it's always going to work out" jesus
  9. I mean you can't give up a 2nd and 4th for a one year rental alone, unless you need a LT or something and are definitely making a super bowl run. They screwed themselves the moment they offered the 2nd rd pick for a project/gamble
  10. Vikings fans are excited about getting rid of Kubiak, only excitement I've noticed
  11. I can't see Rhule not trying to interfere as much as possible to convince Tepper to take another yes man. At that point Rhule would just be doing more harm than good, it's not even about the team to him it seems like
  12. If we can't convince a good OC to coach under Rhule, then you gotta just get rid of Rhule and bring in someone who can convince some decent coordinators to come with. It'll be interesting to see how many OC's turn the job down and how many FA's bail. Tepper won't be able to turn a blind eye to that kinda stuff
  13. Seems like Mcdaniels is always commiting a dumb foul or travelling or something whenever he's in
  14. Yup, Kubiak is basically the Joe Brady of the Vikings. He's gonna get released if we don't sign him, if we do it's going to be a complete sideways move from Brady, and another guy not experienced enough to take over HC duties mid season. Having said that Rhule is gonna say he's his top choice, "family lineage", "grew up in a locker room" blah blah blah.
  15. Rapoport said they requested one, maybe he said no thanks already
  16. Anyone competent enough to actually make our offense better will also be a better coach than Rhule. Either he's gonna sabotage the process, no one qualified to that level wants to accept the offer, or Fitts gonna have to bypass Rhule and hire the guy he thinks could take over mid season. Fitt already was clowning Rhule on the BC short arms thing, he was giving off a more confident vibe and then Rhule for sure
  17. "Finalists" LOL. Rhule is such a dick. I guess it's one of these guys or Pep. What kind of questions do you think Rhule even asks?
  18. Besides the name he's a 34 year old still learning on the job, probably a sideways move from Joe Brady and would not make a good interim head coach yet.
  19. So 3 guys who have recently been fired from their previous OC jobs...Pep still has the most going for him, coaching up Herbert and Davis Mills in back to back seasons, good records with the Colts when Luck was healthy which means he at least didn't screw things up.
  20. Yeah you're either get inexperienced like Kubiak, or washed up like O'brien. This does sound like some business power move Tepper would come up with though
  21. Yeah and that's with Cousins/Thielen/Jefferson/Dalvin Cook, and a slightly better O-line. This also doesn't help with the possible interim head coach thing either because he's a 34 year old first time OC who has an nfl job because of his Dad.
  22. Vikings fans are clowning us, this is one of the nicer comments and sounds like a sideways move at best I think Baby Kubiak has potential. Weren't we one of the best red zone teams? And for a while there we were the best team on opening drives? Now, if he could minimize the three-and-outs, minimize all the worthless designed throws behind the LOS, and learn how to adjust mid-game, he has a chance. We'll see.
