Until they release him when no one wants to trade. They can cut him and save like $25M, he's only guaranteed like $1M in bonus money this year. Every team knows that and no one is desperate enough to trade picks to take on that contract when they could probably get him for $10-15M afterwards

I'm not a Darnold fan, but he's just 24 years old. Would it be insane to give him 5 games w McAdoo to see if he can get it together? I'd take Minshew over him any day of the week but I doubt Philly is gonna let him go. Take the best tackle at 6, suck it up and coach the guy you decided just needed to be in a better situation to flourish. If you dump him now you didn't provide a better situation for him, if you can't make him better then your evaluation skills of the player/your own coaching skills are a fireable offense. Clean house next year if they can't make Darnold work with this rebuilt O-line

I'd rather take a tackle at 6 than any of them. I don't think our staff has the patience for Willis even though he has the most upside. Pickett will be like a smarter Darnold but less arm strength, could turn into Blaine Gabbert because of the bad situation. Corral's pro day was super weird to me, didn't really like his vibe with his WR's and he'll probably get injured a lot. I'd take any in the 2nd in a different draft but Rhule has us in a desperate situation

If Hoskins and Daviyon (pre injury) got more of Rhules boy Bravvions minutes they probably would have taken his job. With all the talk about BC's arm length he's got a T-rex DT out there just because he went to Baylor.

Deonte Brown could be in the mix, who knows. Depends on how he weighs in at camp. I'd be ok with BC/Bozeman/Elf/Corbett/Moton as the place holder line for now. Bozeman highlights are so nasty at Center though, teams wouldn't even try him in pass pro so he'd just beat up on whoever went after the guards depending on the play

I was lookin earlier, I think his cap hit is $6M, if we cut him we could save $2M and eat the $4M cap hit but I think that'll have to wait til after the draft. I got no problem cutting him in camp if we got a late round backup or UDFA that looks decent. He really brings nothing but lazy play on the field and a dick presence in press conferences. I thought Okung was kind of an oddball but this guy is just a waste of a roster spot
