And Dak should have went down like at least 5 yards earlier and maybe they would have had 1-2 seconds
-
I mean Dak and the Center just blacked out and forgot they needed to toss the ball to the ref to set. Though he was old man jogging up from like 20 yards away so yeah not the best play call when you have no timeouts

This game is torture. I'm switching to gymnastics til 4:30

After today, everyone should understand you need a QB

Will Grier is the only QB we've drafted since Cam, most teams generally pick one up every 2-3 years. I'd rather trust this staffs dumb luck over trying to fix other peoples cast offs -

Yeah think of Seattle, even if Russel Wilson was a bust in the 3rd round, it wouldn't have greatly set them back roster wise or cap wise, they could just keep on trying. You gotta take shots at QB's in the draft every once in a while. Grier being our only QB pick since Cam is kind of insane -

Guess we're Bills fans moving forward? Bengals ok too

In that temp it probably feels better playing than standing still on the sideline, especially since the Pats aren't trying to hit anyone
-
Was gonna say the Pats D doesn't look like they want to hit anyone but that weasel could throw an on the field temper tantrum at any moment

Mac Jones looks like he wants to go home and get under 5 blankies
-
For real, they got Tee higgins and Tyler Boyd ballin and we got Fatt Rhule wanting to reteach TMJ his gait/how to walk properly to be a great WR. Can't make up some of this stuff that comes out of his mouth.
-
I love seeing the Pats get their ass kicked in every category. Mac Jones is looking like that redheaded kid in a christmas story when he finally gets his ass beat
-
They took our GM and coach, and a couple players. They are smarter than our staff and they may take him but I doubt it would be for much else aside from maybe a 2nd/3rd and help clearing up some cap space. All of our big contracts are pretty much garbage except T-mo would might actually be a waste if it takes us a few years to be in the playoffs anyway

Rashawn Slater named 2nd team All-Pro at LT
Jackie Lee replied to SuperBowlBound's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah and with the Robby Anderson extension? Like TMJ should have been ready to be the number 2 beside DJ Moore next year. All these new contracts that no one will ever trade for lol. Sam/CMC/Shaq/Robby is like 1/3 of our cap unless they get funky w some numbers -
I have more Faith in Scott Fitterer than Rhule.
Jackie Lee replied to Ivan The Awesome's topic in Carolina Panthers
He's better at making poo like that sound somewhat logical, but he conveniently left out the draft picks he traded away for Darnold. You cannot trade 3 picks away for Darnold and cut him after one 5 win season, or if he plays well be forced into a FA bidding war. I like Fitt better than Rhule but lets not pretend like the Seahawks have done anything remarkable since lucking out on Russel Wilson 9 years ago. -

But we got an injury prone WR who Rhule wants to reteach how to walk, and a long snapper who got IR'd in preseason because they didn't want to cut him out of embarrassment. Good investments -
Imagine any of those guys only winning 5 games and getting the opportunity to replace their whole coaching staff, that they hand picked 2 years ago because they insisted on full control only to scapegoat all of them. And then make up a Jay Z statistic that's irrelevant to football. Rhule had like 7 years as College head coach so getting an NFL job should have been his Jay-Z moment, not a total of 14 years to make the NFL playoffs or whatever he's trying to convey

I would much prefer Al Bundy press conferences -

And it was so easy to find like 5 decent cornerbacks, who weren't even the problem on the defense. Teams quickly figured out they could run on our 200 pound DE's and throw the ball right between our linebackers all day long. Question is where would Rhule even play Slater? He'd probably decide he was a right guard behind John Miller on the depth chart -
Rhule set to appear on WFNZ Thursday morning
Jackie Lee replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
Rhules comment on Sam being in the same class as Fields and Mac Jones is irrelevant because They're on rookie deals and Sam cost 3 draft picks and $18m to possibly warm the bench next year. At this point he doesn't deserve another QB to ruin either way. I wanted Fields but in this specific scenario I would say Slater would have been the safer pick, but then again he probably would have rode the bench all year just like BC did. Screwed no matter what with Rhule calling the shots -
Multiple analysts ridiculing Rhule's comments
Jackie Lee replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yup even with the trade backs we could have at least added Creed and Trey Smith, immediate starters and PFF all rookie/pro whatever team. It's definitely a lot on Rhule lack of evaulation skills. With Fitt clowning him about the arm length thing in his presser, I think he's trying to gain some distance between himself and Rhule. Matt was like the annoying kid in the toy store during that whole draft confidential thing -
Yup, I dunno after that radio interview yesterday anyone would expect him to not screw things up any worse. I'd rather Fitt just get a one year trial guy that has to work with what the GM gives him in FA and draft this year. At least we'd be able to find out if it's Fitt or Rhule screwing up on these trades. There are competent coaches out there that would like to make $5m or whatever for one year of a trial HC job, that get the excuse that they had zero roster control and just coached what was handed to them
