  1. I'll take 2018 check down Cam, he was playing 10x better than anyone we currently have
  2. Can you imagine a Rhule presser admitting how badly they screwed up the last 2 QB deals? I think Tepper would have to clean house and personally ask Cam which won't happen. He'd rather offer Watson his pick of coaching staff and free agent picks
  3. Sam definitely didn't get injured on that sack either..Judon softly rolled him over, basically tagged him
  4. He should have gotten the GM first, Hurney and Tepper isn't the combo you want picking a head coach
  5. Total gambling problem. We're paying Teddy $17m to play for another team this season. Keeping him and drafting a QB to develop maybe wasn't as exciting as rolling the dice on Sam and taking the credit if he panned out
  6. Rhule walked out like a biyatch. Losing this team and fanbase at warp speed pace
  7. Yup. A rookie that costs 3 draft picks and $18 million next year. We're paying Teddy $17 million to play for the Broncos right now! Rhules ego was too big to just have Teddy finish out this year while a rookie learned on the bench.
  8. Tepper is actually lucky there's so many out of town fans filling up seats and booking hotels to keep the city happy right now. I can't imagine he'd have the balls to ask for a new stadium from tax payers anytime soon
  9. I mean the left side of his head hit the field super hard so his brain got rocked, but he basically got hit by a car on the right side of his body. Could he have actually fractured or exposed a small fracture just trying to throw during the Pats game? He obviously couldn't elevate his arm above his shoulder/head area. He was out there throwing darts in the bar game sense
  10. Against the Steelers, you know Tepper watched that game. I don't understand the people chiming in about the Bears losing the game, doesn't matter. Fields did his thing in crunch time and had his team pumped. Getting better every week behind a worse line than ours and Allen Robinson as his only weapon.
  11. Injury or not, they're benching Sam to give Brady/Sean Ryan a chance to see what they can do with different bodies at QB. If it looks the same, then they'll fire the qb coach assistant or something.
  12. Exactly, he can look at the numbers and realize he'd be better off paying Rhule his $50 million left and getting a better coach, who will potentially actually fill the stadium. A half empty stadium for a whole season is probably a bigger loss than just paying off Rhule and moving on. Not that I agree with getting Watson, but Tepper would probably let Watson pick his own head coach if that's what it would take for him to sign here.
  13. Sam didn't ask for Rhule to trade 3 draft picks for him and announce him as the starter with no competition. And it's the players being more mature in press conferences...Rhule up there stuttering fast, blaming execution for plays dead on arrival, over all total joke.
  14. Like anyone in Cleveland is raving about Mayfield right now lol. OBJ clawed his way out
  15. It was a fun game to watch live minus the end zone interceptions. At least he has a little bit of touch on the balls that looks way easier to catch than what Darnold has been fast balling to guys
  16. Maybe that's why he couldn't get the ball over the D-linemen, probably couldn't hold his arm above his head and they still played him. Rhule is an idiot
  17. Why trot this guy out there? If this dude plays snaps after we're eliminated from the playoffs and we never even get a look at James Morgan I will have once again been amazed by the ineptitude of this staff. At least see what you got in a guy the Jets drafted in the 4th round ONE year ago. Mike White looks better then Zach Wilson so I don't think the Jets dropped Morgan because he absolutely sucked, just a numbers/optics thing
  18. Give PJ 4 games, and if it's not working give Morgan a shot. Admit that you screwed up with Darnold and see if you have someone serviceable on the roster instead of making another desperate trade in the offseason.
  19. And Fields cap hit is about $4.5m a year for another 3 years, Darnold is $18m next year plus whatever value you can put on the 2nd and 4th round picks we traded away for him
  20. And taking the long snapper instead of Trey Smith. It was our 9th pick you're allowed to gamble with a high risk high reward player there. Get the snapper in FA
  21. Yup we'll find a QB around the same time a bunch of our defensive playmakers rookie contracts expire
