  1. No huddle offense and blitz every play on D and we'd have a better chance of winning at this rate, would at least be fun to watch
  2. Yup you can motivate them by having coordinators who can design and call plays that win you games, so you all get paid more. Otherwise you just continue to churn the roster with overpaid free agents looking for 1-2 year contracts. These guys talk to each other and i imagine the majority are gonna tell their friends that this staff has no idea what they're doing but they will overpay you
  3. Yup it would only attract other college unknowns Why get paid a fraction of Rhules salary to basically teach him how to coach? Only to have him blow 3 timeouts in one series or randomly yank a rookie player out of the game for 1 mistake. There is zero reasoning behind his in game coaching decisions besides panic
  4. I missed the game today, what are the cliff notes? About to check the Youtube lowlights
  5. Yeah we're not looking for the best LT in the world at the moment, just someone to actually get in front of their guy and play with effort. Don't understand Rhules all or nothing approach to the situation. You can admit he's a career backup when/if you find someone better. BC did a presser yesterday and still seems as confused as all of us why he's playing guard when he has zero college experience there
  6. It's so dumb, Chinn relegated to cleaning up Carters mistakes. Move Chinn up and give Robinson safety snaps instead of having him rot on the bench.
  7. Had the balls to call the Philly Special in the Super Bowl win. He's probably too confident for Rhule to have work under him, but it would be an easy transition. Only knock is taking Hurts out of a game so they could tank in a lost season anyway
  8. Yup I think back to the Giants game where we abandoned the run in the 2nd quarter in a 2 or 3 point game with our D playing great. He has to have some form of slants and double moves he refused to call. Robby was begging for them on the sideline so he must know a couple from the playbook
  9. Cam having to run around those field level suites to hand out touchdown balls to kids....It's hard to focus on the red zone plays when they're on that end of the field watching 20 people eat pancakes in little cubicles
  10. Shitty thing is even if we had made the playoffs or whatever in win now mode, it wouldn't be sustainable because they blew a bunch of cap space and draft picks. Maybe if Darnold became Mahomes out of nowhere it could have worked, but it was such a horrible gamble for no reason. If we had our current record with Teddy and a rookie QB on the bench and like 10 draft picks next year people could be optimistic, but here we are
  11. Also The Seahawks haven't drafted well at all since lucking out on Russel Wilson, and their O-line has always been an issue. DK fell into their laps but other than that their best pick was maybe Tyler Lockett in the 3rd round?
  12. Chinn is certainly going to waste cleaning up the LB's mistakes
  13. Yup might as well show weekly Confidentials instead of actually showing the games. What's going to be really interesting to see is how many free agents bail instead re-sign here. If that happens and Tepper starts noticing a trend a la Teddy and Perryman I wonder if he'd pull the trigger before next draft
  14. Is he really worth 7-10x the amount of Rasul Douglas for example? He's obviously not a number 1 CB, his thing is speed but he gets burned by Antonio Brown's and Waddle's, too short to cover the taller guys. I'd roll with Gilmore/Horn/Taylor/Bouye. Gilmore is a luxury because he probably wants to play a couple more years at home but at the same time won't mail it in
  15. Rhule had a Zoom meeting with him when he was interviewing for the Jets HC job. Matt said he liked how Sam didn't ask football questions and was interested in the culture or whatever Rhule supposedly is good at.
  16. Not good for the Brady going away hopes
  17. He's pretty close besides the rando Joe Brady and Sean Ryan hires. He inherited Moton/Shaq/CMC/Burns. Only Temple pay off has been Reddick and he's not gonna re-sign/we can't afford him after Robby and Darnold's shitty contracts. Rhule wanted full control with the JETS and even they were like nah dude, also give us 3 draft picks for Darnold who you decided you liked after one Zoom meeting
  18. Such a mess, how many games have we abandoned the run? I think we ran 15 times yesterday. So the philosophy has been more like "Throw picks to guys sitting on routes they learned watching film, and get ran over by average RB's"
  19. If Rhule was a manager at Krispy Kreme the staff would give him the eye roll on a constant basis
  20. Sean Ryan? 15 years as an NFL assistant/position coach, actually one of the only guys on the squad that's consistently been on NFL staffs. Not exactly like Brady was technically qualified for the job, just got the media hype because LSU was basically playing with all first round NFL talent at skill positions
  21. The fact that WFT and Dolphins who were basically out of playoff contention came in more motivated than our team is all on the coaching staff. Just one win between the two games would have us back in the wildcards. Ultimately I'd rather this staff get fired than make the playoffs this year. Pretty sure 2019 was at least more enjoyable to watch than this current mess
  22. Yup a full happy stadium on a consistent basis outweighs the financial loss of paying Rhule to go away. If we were horrible last year and steadily improving with a young team it would be one thing, but Rhule has traded/gambled a lot of capital away to try to mask his coaching deficiencies. The Jets were smart enough to not give him full control and then stole 3 draft picks from us for Sam Darnold...That's getting played by one of the worst NFL franchises in the league
  23. Yup, they passed on Slater in the first, numerous O-line options at pick 2 for a WR who was a healthy scratch today, took a long snapper who they benched/IR'd instead of taking Trey Smith in the 6TH ROUND. Gave up all our day 2 picks next year for Darnold/other projects. Talk about poor execution and missed opportunities and DBO's...
  24. And instead of accumulating draft picks to actually rebuild we've traded them away for guys that won't be here in 2 years. Not that this staff has shown any hope of knowing how to develop young players.
  25. We already know there will be zero half time adjustments, and coaches will blame execution in the pressers
