Makes no sense, some guys have to earn every little rep they get, some guys Rhule tries to force into success because he had a hunch he can't admit was wrong
-
PJ had a pretty good line for his snaps. Mays and Pleasants looked good on that right side
-
Cade mays with an almost 80 PFF grade on that many snaps is a good sign. Hopefully he can move ahead of Rhules favorite guy Jordan eventually
-
Westry outta here just like that
-
Some PFF numbers. No Bozeman grade on here but you see where Elf is. Red means bad
-
Should have been a helmet to helmet flag honestly
-
Your takeaway from that first series is Robbie should have caught this? He was where he was supposed to be and got his hands on it.

QB & OL Musical Chairs--doesn't help ANYONE
Jackie Lee replied to davos's topic in Carolina Panthers
Some of us tried to warn all the people that bought into the Rhule training camp fluffy pressers thinking the guy had learned his lesson and turned a new leaf. As soon as he steps into a real game situation he can't get out of his own way. New position coaches obviously can't force him to play the right guys or know how to manage the clock/time outs -
34 snaps

TMJ has some kind of injury once again. Shi and Higgins both stood out above anyone else on our WR group. Zylstra is a solid security guy and Ricci actually looked decent. Shi has no fear in the return/yac game but also protects the football which are both traits/instincts a lot of guys just don't have naturally. Not to mention his speed jumps off the tape
-
No, Darnold got Ickey/BC/Bozeman/ aka the obvious best LT/LG/C. If he was limiting reps to keep guys from being injured that would be one thing but our best guys played they just didn't start because of some college philosophy Rhule has stuck up his ass
-
If that's the case why exactly is he toying around with Elf and Jordan starting the game with Baker (almost getting him destroyed) before giving Sam Bozeman/BC/Ickey to play behind? He's got some serious mental issues to work through when it comes to pride and nepotism..
-
Rhule out here willing to get his QB's injured instead of accepting his hunches on a couple players were wrong. This is way worse than what you can see on the television copy and it's glaringly obvious who the liabilities are
-
We technically won the game but WFT seemed to have a much more smooth transition from starters and backups and their guys didn't look completely clueless by the 4th quarter. We all know how the training camp reps have been split up so it all adds up when you see it on live TV
-
That O-line shuffling in the first quarter showed me Rhule hasn't learned a thing from his new coaching staff. The frustrating part is he tries to force other guys like Jordan and Elf into success while making the more raw naturally talented new guys "earn it"
-
He had no chance with that O-line and WR group vs a WFT defense that just said fug it blitz over and over again. That O-line couldn't even give the running back any room in that particular matchup. All that after getting like 20 reps in the last two weeks as an afterthought, it almost seems like Rhule is hazing him

I was literally watching on my phone with no sound while bartending and had no clue why we were running down the clock, not calling our 2 timeouts, no getting to the line and clocking it, anything that would make sense. And then PJ throws the ball out of bounds instead of picking up probably 5 yards and a 1st down and THEN running out of bounds to stop the clock in field goal range. Mind Boggling
-
One observation of Rhules pecking order, CJ saunders gets all the 1 reps until he gets injured and Shi Smith comes out and freaking balls all day long despite seeming like an afterthought during camp
-
Had to work during the game but caught some bits on my phone. What the fug was up with the clock management during the last drive of the first half? We had two timeouts, PJ was running and checking down the middle of the field and Rhule waited randomly til 12 seconds to call a timeout? Like he was watching the clock, to call a time out when we weren't even in field goal range? New coaches around him but looked like Rhule didn't learn a fuging thing this whole offseason. Don't get me started on the random O-line change ups for the first 3 or 4 drives. I'm sure it was discussed but not going back to read anything on this thread lol

This time of possession is ruining my pre work glimpse

Need to work on tackling I see
-
Higgins and Shi need to be moved up to WR3/4 until TMJ can show availability and then ability
-
Why does Sam get the good O-line?

Rhules pet Elflein "Didn't take care of the ball" as he likes to say
