I think we have the roster to win, I just don't have much faith in Borrego's rotations. I'm expecting some head scratching line ups

Josh Norris on Panthers 1st round plans
Jackie Lee replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
They don't have a 1st, would anyone trade out of the top 10 for picks 44 and 78? Our other issue is Falcons and Saints being the two option who might want to trade up and not looking to help us out. I think more than likely the team that actually wants to trade up does to with the Giants leaving us stranded at our position. -
Seems to me he had some issues in high school and whatnot, did some self reflection, got some therapy/laid off alcohol and got focused. Id take his "character issues" over Mayfields issues, or Darnolds lack of character

Yup you got teams like the Chiefs that have like too many draft picks and might move up but I really don't see us moving back to the 29th spot. Maybe the Eagles for a decent value, Seahawks/WFT moving up and giving us a 3rd or something to take a player we actually want...Horrible year to not have our 2nd and 3rd rounders. At least O-line is deep and there should still be some good players left in the 4th/5th -
Looking like the Hawks then the Cavs if we win. I'd rather have the Cavs in the 2nd game, less playoff experience on their roster and if our shots are falling we have a good shot. Remember last year Melo had a fuged up wrist and Malik Monk was out there shooting like 10%.

I'd take the Charlotte FC coach over Rhule today. No NFL experience required
-
He's somehow narcissistic and aware of his shortcomings at the same time. It's truly a nightmare. I'd rather lose with Rivera than win with Rhule.

I believe it's called grifting. Small money now, establishing some connections for his inevitable return to college coaching after this year

Rockhill site going south fast it seems.

If they can raise property taxes on businesses without screwing the OG homeowners that would be ok. I'm in NYC and it doesn't end up being so friendly to the working class landlords/tenants. Here it leads to more money for cops, gentrified schools, etc.. generally no benefit to the older residents who don't get a pay raise when the city gets a tax revenue raise, you just get priced out of your home eventually -

So it's an attempt at gentrification of an otherwise non-desirable Charlotte suburb? -

What's the upside for Rock Hill? I don't know the area but assume the facilities biggest immediate impact would be like 100 Panthers employees spending money at gas stations or whatever on their way to work. I'm sure they were going to have a cafeteria at the facility that would cover 80% of food needs. I guess some politicians or whatever thought it would be some sort of revenue/tax stream to benefit the county/state but attendance at training camp the last couple seasons has sucked ass and actual practices are closed to the public so, I didn't get it from the jump. Maybe Tepper liked the cheap land and SC liked the image of having something relevant happening in a random town -
I've known guys like that that have gotten DUI's on the way to work the next morning, or have the ignition breathalyzer thing and can't start their cars til 2-3pm
-
Seriously we got 2 or 3 guys sitting on the bench that play good D and rebound, which just happens to be our biggest weakness. Young and hungry when Plumlee and even Trez just kinda stare at the rim hoping the ball bounces there way after a miss
-
Glad the young guys got a few minutes, tough to gauge in garbage time but Thor/Kai/Bouknight should all have a lot more minutes than they do at this point. I get Bouknight to a degree but Kai and thor i'd take over Mcdaniels any night
-
That will remain an unsolved mystery but would be the move
-
How does McDaniels get minutes but Bouknight can't see the floor? Mcdaniels is a fuging moron
-
His dumbass is drinking Dasani saltwater on camera, I question everything about him now
-
If we don't trade back I'd take a shot at Qb and grab whichever of those 4 guys are there in the 4th, grab Hayes or Thayer in the 5th if still around. Even if they aren't starters I'd rather have young depth that wanna play instead of these journeymen we were using the last 2 years

I agree, he's possibly just Brady Christensen with longer arms. If he's only a 10% of an upgrade over BC I wouldn't spend the 6th pick on him. Mcadoo and Fitt obviously went for the opposite type players in FA so far, more road grader/mauler types.
-
Ikey could possibly never develop in pass protection at the next level. Cross could max out as Brady Christensen with longer arms. It's the kind of draft where I wouldn't be surprised if some 4th and 5th round O-line guys ball out.
