  1. Aside from the overall team sucking, why would anyone wanna take their chances with Rhule after how he handled Teddy and Cam? I think Andy Dalton is the only one who would sign but why even waste the money
  2. And Burrow got it done in 2 seasons with better yards per attempt. Pickett had 4 starting years and was pretty good in his 5th senior year after finding out he was gonna go in the 5th round if he declared for last years draft. I don't really understand why people make the Burrow comparison
  3. If Teddy wasn't the answer I really don't see how Pickett is besides being recruited by Rhule at Temple. They basically have the same ceiling, with Teddy actually showing he can reach that ceiling in the NFL. Pickett could max out at like a Will Grier level in my opinion. At the best If you took Burrow and Grier and met in the middle which is basically a good backup
  4. Seems like Trez here/Ish gone opens things up for a better rotation that'll also keep the young guys happy. I didn't catch the game, just highlights but for coming in cold the chemistry w Trez looked good. Just get some timing things down and they might make the legit playoffs (Not just the play-in)
  5. And our next coach/staff will have to try to trade Pickett away for like a 3rd or 4th rounder when they blow everything up. Serious waste of 3 years when we were in prime position to be ahead of the NFC South rebuilds
  6. Speaking of arm length Bravvion Roy looks crazy out there. He's not bad as a backup but I don't think he'd be playing for any other NFL team, just the Baylor Panthers
  7. You're already stuck with Elf (while healthy). I like the top LT's, and I think a couple of them could be better guards than BC for sure. Trading back would be nice for BPA/Willis, I think Zion Johnson could be a starting OG in the 2nd round if we can get that pick back.
  8. Yup he's just twiddling his thumbs at Safety waiting for Carter to miss a block so he can clean it up. Either that or getting beat deep by WR's he shouldn't be covering. Too much micromanaging going on last year from the coaches, hopefully they realize they're making some things harder than they need to be
  9. He's also "traumatized" by Marvel since they didn't like his Gambit move idea lol
  10. Really depends where you go. Jags had lawrence in a bad situation, Wilson shouldn't have been playing, Lance didn't really play. Jones had a good staff that worked around his strengths and weaknesses so he's not traumatized by starting. Don't see us having a good game plan for him but someone like the Steelers could probably start him and have a winning record
  11. Yeah pretty sure those guys were like "We got it coach". This is from an observer fluff piece, he basically never ran a full offense until learning on the job with us. While Brady did not call all of the plays at LSU, he was responsible for talking to Burrow after drives from the booth to go over what to improve. He was not responsible for calling all of the plays, but he would call red zone, third down and other packages
  12. They get like $150 a game or something ridiculous right? No clue if they get paid for rehearsals or whatever.
  13. He seems kinda like Heinicke to me. Quick reactions, likes to play, but always injured. Pretty much all these guys are comparable to good backups and would've gone like round 3-5 last year. Except Willis either being a 10 year starter or a complete bust
  14. Yeah I'm pretty sure Picketts ceiling is Teddy which wasn't good enough for Rhule, so if he pulls the trigger on this that's basically just because he convinced himself he's a genius for recruiting him out of high school
  15. Pretty sure Harrell's salary is more than Carey and Ish combined?
  16. I was just thinking about that, if Mcadoo being the OC was a stipulation for this staff in 2020, I don't think Rhule would have taken the job nor would Tepper have given him the job (depending on who hypothetically would have brought Mcadoo into the conversation). There is no process or program building which is the only thing Rhule is supposedly good at
  17. Not really understanding the need for a thread commenting on a random guys drug dealing issues
  18. He got manhandled by the Ravens in preseason so he probably just sucks in blocking. Rhule liked him because, quote, "He's just like, a regular guy!". I'm sure he wants to play and we coulda got him in UDFA but it wasn't exactly a pressing need when there was Trey Smith and a couple DT's available that were not gonna be available post draft
  19. Anyone wanna list a couple things Rhule is good at? I know there are only a handful of people wanting to give him more time but just curious of any specifics
  20. Tepper let Rhule pick a yes man, who from his end of the season presser tried to distance himself as much as possible without outright saying it. He mocked Rhule on the arm length thing, and then said he's available for input on OC hires if Rhule wants his opinion. Just a shitty backstabbing tanking lame duck situation at every level
  21. Chances of him falling asleep mid game?
  22. It's really tough to say how any of that is on Frisman with Rhule not playing TMJ or Shi, Darnold throwing most of the footballs, and the O-line/OC issues. 10 yard comeback routes to the sidelines isn't exactly much to work with, that seemed like our go to route 80% of the time. Shi looked good when he did get playing time and Rhule makes those decisions
  23. Can't read the article but I get the vibe that everyone sees the inevitable happening from these coaching departures, and random desperation hires
  24. These are his number in Detroit as DC before he basically retired in 2020. Detroit initially decided to retain Pasqualoni after a season which the Lions finished 26th in points allowed (26.4) and 31st in yards allowed (400.4). The Lions allowed opponents to convert 43.93% of third downs, which was 28th in the league.
