More are starting to believe in the Panthers
Jackie Lee replied to Panthers Rhule's topic in Carolina Panthers
So we were nobodies first or second choice to win a wild card spot? There were 25 voters and only 3 think we'll grab the last wild card spot? They don't do a very good job of laying out this voting system -
Bigly Walterfootball Power Rankings drop
Jackie Lee replied to janderson20vt's topic in Carolina Panthers
They never even technically settled the Center battle, and the depth stuff is weird. If a tackle goes down, do you really throw Cam Erving out there? Or do you Move BC out there to his natural position, then throw Jordan/Mays in at OG and then have the whole line out of sync? The price of position battles and versatile backups -
What games would be on besides Giants?

The Thur night game last week wasn't on NFL+, had to watch a bootleg stream. Not sure about NFLN. Amazon has every Thur night game except week 1 and Thanksgiving. Don't see it pulling in very good numbers, no one is going to sign up from Prime just to see TNF

They signed CJ Saunders so I think 1

This is pretty much the trend in the power rankings I've seen slowly trickle out. Rank usually 23-28, roster is pretty good but Rhule is a liability, etc.. 23. Carolina Panthers: Baker Mayfield beat out Sam Darnold for the starting quarterback job. Now he has to swim upstream against the brain trust of Matt Rhule and Ben McAdoo.

Ellis Williams Here’s what we learned

Judging by Hurneys drafts and lack of roster churning it didn't seem like there was much depth to his decision making. -

We also barely practiced red zone. Tabor and McAdoo today actually sounded like guys that know what they're doing, so that was a nice change from last year -
Would Baker even be a win if he plays well, wants $40M a year and tests the open market?

Looks like it could be an interesting article if anyone has a subscription

Yeah out of our price range

He lost his job at Georgia to Jake Fromm and was zero threat to Geno Smith or Drew Lock in Seattle. Not looking promising

Donte could sack this dude. He's got awkward size, not imposing size. Like if Kramer was a QB

Lambeau doesn't even have seats, still bleachers and grass. Real football stadium

Coming from a guy that likes to brag about being a short order cook before he made it he sure does love some elitist bullshit. Between this, field level suites and turf he's earned the fans ire

I was excited at first but I had him confused with Ehlinger from that Colts preseason week, that would've been an upgrade over PJ

Looks pretty blah in our preseason game last year. No touch on his short/intermediate passes
