  1. Rhule needs to prove he can coach what he has before throwing any more capital away. If we're balling in October maybe entertain some trades
  2. Yeah he was getting bull rushed by linebackers at BYU, shouldn't be going up against 300 pound DT's
  3. Well he sounds like a complete 180 mentally from Darnold, from IQ to attitude. If Rhule couldn't handle Teddy's honesty things might get real ugly if we're looking at another losing season. Will make for good television at least since most of us are prepared to not be good at the football part of things
  4. 1 deep pass attempt per game would be an improvement over the last guy. If I see another 8 yard comeback route on 3rd and 10....
  5. He definitely produced with pressure in the pocket. Obviously a better line that what we had last year but it's not like he was sitting back there like half the college QB highlight reels you see every draft
  6. He strikes me as the type of guy that might actually want to be a backup QB. Money aside I think he'd be happy running scout team during the week and hanging out on the bench drinking gatorade during the games.
  7. Theres a Baker interview on Youtube with Colin Cownerd after he was drafted and it was clear who was being an immature dickhead between the two of them. It's like Corral and the drinking stuff, he mentioned that he partied too much as a freshman like most kids do and now all the sudden he has all this scrutiny. Like Florio doesn't drunk Tweet every weekend from his cabin
  8. I understand why they settled as soon as possible. If there was no guilt in the organization they would have told Buzbee to fug off for free
  9. They get to avoid anything coming out in discovery, but it's not really fooling anyone in the media who will poo on them for a couple days and then move on to the next thing. Oh it's Friday how convenient
  10. Settling that fast when not guilty yeah right. Probably better off not releasing a statement
  11. Diggs regularly voiced frustration about the direction of the Vikings and his role on the team, and his seemingly negative tweet after Minnesota extended Kirk Cousins in March preceded his trade to Buffalo that night. Diggs tweeted "it's time for a new beginning" after the team announced the Cousins deal.
  12. But he also says Cousins isn't the problem, in fact he's a 'cut above' Mayfield (who ranked higher than Cousins in 2018 and 2020). Why would you be offended that a team wouldn't want to trade picks away for Cousins and his $45M cap hit?
  13. Cleveland did only pass like 28-30 times a game, it was kinda run a lot but don't be conservative when you do pass. In a lot of his mic'd ups he's always bragging about his hand offs, which is a joke and also Darnold actually kinda sucks at them for real
  14. Basically really good run blocking. Their tackles were injured most of the year so they had scrubs out there against edge rushers in pass pro. Anyways this Vikings guy can suck it.
  15. That is peak July NFL desperation. Not much going on with the Vikings this offseason I guess
  16. He thought Taysom Hill was gonna get it done. If the Saints hadn't gotten Brees and lucked out with some draft picks this wouldn't be a conversation
  17. Clausen numbers Darnold after week 4: 55.4 completion percentage TD-INT 4-10
  18. Yeah spending all those years under Mike McCarthy only to find out that Rodgers can win with any scrub coaching staff hasn't really helped either of them in the long run.
  19. Hopefully it's some kind of Baker curse and he gets Rhule fired this year
  20. Towards the middle of the year last year it may as well have been Nathan Peterman out there. People forget how dire things were before the Cam signing cam along for the FO to purposefully distract/pique interest.
  21. Balboni's interviews are always pretty good. Here he mentions he already knows Campen, Higgins, Corbett, prepared/threw DJ for the combine, has known CMC since 2015.
  22. I would add that he mentioned he already knows Campen's O-line terminology/protections so that's half the battle really. Now it's just translating the playbook.
  23. Thought I heard that. On the one hand it's not a good thing for owners to get involved at that level, on the other no one trusts Rhules personnel decisions after last year so maybe that's a situation where Tepper will side with Fitt and McAdoo if Rhule is being stubborn.
