Yeah it's strange to take Snows front 7 with Wilks Zone secondary. Recipe for dink and dunks all day long. Not so bad yesterday but we also give up a lot of 2nd/3rd and fairly long conversions. All you need is one guy to leave their zone or hand a guy off to a safety who's not paying attention. Seems like man would be easier mentally for such a young roster

And Winston has a broken back. I'm happy for the players to finally get a win but still some issues with schemes on both sides of the ball

Just watching now. 3rd and 10 and the outside WR's are running 20 yard 4 second long routes? That's a 1st or 2nd down play call when you're clicking, not when you're in an obvious situation needing to move the chains.

The tight ends are also interesting so far. Is Ian Thomas doing anything that Tremble and Ricci couldn't do as well or better? He always seems to whiff on blocks/get handled in man when receiving/generally playing smaller than he is. He's the highest paid dude so coulda saved that $5M if he's not an obvious upgrade when on the field

Also seems like we're almost more in an odd-ish front, with 3 big guys and Burns, maybe a LB on the other side but not exactly a 3-4. Hard to tell from the TV copy. We're built more for that so hopefully that's what it's looking like on the 22

Are we seriously in zone almost all the time? Even though the D made some splash plays it still seems like guys are getting handed off to a zone where someone abandoned their area or just aren't staying focused. Weird scheme considering how much we've invested in the secondary

Firing him asap would be worth it just to never have to sit through one of his BS press conferences or have the cameras zoom in on his dumbass on the sideline ever again.
