That wasn't Cory Littletons first peanut punch. I think he's going to be a fan favorite after a few games and I think people need to start worrying more about the D-line than the linebacker room after watching that game.

Baker seems like a natural leader, connects with everyone. Darnold seems like he'd be happy to be a career backup for the next 5-10 years, joke around and practice and play the occasional snap or two

I wonder if Rhule is going to ask for BB's autograph -

If you're gonna lose either way I'd just fire Rhule and promote Wilks, easier on the ears. -
Howell was getting 4 seconds to throw the ball and Alex Erickson who's been in the league 6 years. He basically threw to him over and over. Not as impressive after watching the replay. He did his thing but he was put in a much better situation than Corral, they could look the complete opposite next week depending on the circumstances
-
Jordan had no clue what he was doing out there after getting plenty of reps all camp, waste of space

12 snaps is nothing

Yeah watching the replay Corral really got put into a shitty situation. 4th stringers that are going to get cut, 2 minute drill vs a team blitzing like they had nothing to lose. Sam Howell was getting 4 seconds to throw the ball, Bonnafon as his RB and Alex Erickson who was basically our WR4 last year at WR.

No, hopefully Belichick is structuring these joint practices so that there are 2 fields and more reps for backups

Pats will be a great test for these young O-line guys, BB doesn't hold back in preseason -

Not sure who is gonna beat out Pleasants for the backup RT job but I like your picks. I'd take him over Erving yesterday -

I think these people will have something negative to say when Robbie catches a 50 yard bomb

QB & OL Musical Chairs--doesn't help ANYONE

Cam broke his foot in a Pats preseason game under relentless blitz so yeah, gonna be a tough one for PJ and Corral -
I'm watching the 4th quarter replay and Howell was getting like 4 seconds a throw on average. Corral maybe 1-2. Considering Howell also has had more steady reps in training camp I'm not surprised the optics of this particular game favor Howell. Next week Corral will still be under pressure from Patriots blitzes but will hopefully be with some actual 2nd stringers and some semblance of an actual game plan to show what he can do

I"m into 3rd quarter of the replay and Cade Mays is an instant upgrade over both Jordan and Elf -

Judging by his foul mouth during his first presser I assume it's a lot of fuging this and fuging that. I was just thinking that I hope he gives Rhule a wake up call on his O-line position battle BS -
Looking forward to seeing that Baker/Corral connection. Corral only mentions Baker whenever he speaks of guidance out of the QB room
-
Interesting. Sounds like all the coaching changes and upgrades Fitt made to the team didn't teach Rhule a single thing and Tepper is for some reason enabling him. Tepper and Rhule must have the same undiagnosed personality disorder and too much money to care
-
I really wish Fitt had control over who to cut and McAdoo had control over who starts on offense. Limit Rhule to mismanaging time outs and it would be palatable
-
BC looks better against the power rush as well. Gotta give him/Campen credit for whatever they reworked.

Replay update- Our D-line is trash. Specifically the interior

Pretty sure your LG isn't supposed to be facing sideways during pass pro but that's just me

It has to be some kind of lack of self confidence thing where he ends up over thinking and trying too hard. I think he should go to therapy
-
I was stoked to see him look great on returns as well. Roberts is a solid vet returner but hasn't taken any meaningful WR snaps in like 5 years. Looks like Shi has the nerves to handle that job
