  1. Rhule doesn't know anything about the actual mechanics of football, he just shuffles guys in and out hoping someone plays well. Convincing college kids to focus instead of playing video games is a lot different than molding professionals into successful situations
  2. Huntley is what Rhule has wet dreams about PJ being
  3. Yeah he has to rely 100% on being a technician, low penalty guy. Nothing exciting, never gonna road grade. Seahawks look like they're planning on taking a QB with a top 5 pick either way
  4. 2020 UDFA pick up after the draft. No media love but always looks solid.
  5. Tyler Huntley so underrated, he's looking solid for the Ravens
  6. Top tackles all with some growing pains. Cross looked ok the other night but pretty low ceiling, I kinda figured he's basically Christensen and it's looking that way
  7. Pretty sure Giants are gonna pick top 5 again this year. Offense looks horrible against Bengals 2nd team D
  8. Shi is basically preseason MVP out of that room, looks good on returns as well
  9. Basically sounds like he thinks it's up to Rhule not to fug things up, or at least get out of the way and let the football guys handle the on the field stuff
  10. Rhule basically says a bunch of words and then hopes the players turn out to be good. That's basically college, convince better players to come to your team and you're automatically better than Rice or Kansas State level teams. He cannot give one ounce of criticism/advice to any players about technique or routes, anything tangible.
  11. I can't believe we didn't pick a QB before 2 joint practices with the Pats. We're going to go into the season with the QB and O-line still working out the kinks because we wasted the last 2 weeks with fake competitions. I bet he's still gonna have Jordan out there next week alternating with BC and Corbett
  12. I'd say he's borderline Jim Tomsula with a Chip Kelly ego
  13. He was solid at guard and then I guess his numbers took a hit when he moved to Center with the 4th stringers? Either way I think having Elf/Boze/Cade/Teck as flexible interior guys should be pretty solid. Boze and Cade can easily fill in at either guard position if not getting starting Center time
  14. Littleton and Luvu are solid as well. interior D-line is the main glaring weakness at this point. They'll have to grab a DT off waivers next week
  15. I'd like any Rhule defenders to explain how giving PJ over 50% of the preseason game snaps so far has helped the team in any way? Any other teams giving the majority of snaps to QB's everyone expects to get cut or sent to the practice squad next week?
  16. Yeah Rhule probably begged to let Sam have one last shot in OTA's to prove himself, and Fitt was like I've seen enough I'm getting Baker. I get the feeling Fitt isn't trying to lose his job for the sake of making Rhule happy anymore. I'd love for him to have control over certain roster cuts, can't trust Rhule with some of his nepotism guys that shouldn't be on NFL rosters
  17. Really like Brandon Smith so far. Seems to be around the ball which was one of Chinns better traits when he was playing more LB
  18. Seems like the wise thing to do would have been to name the starting Qb and O-line before Pats practice, give them 2 days of scrimmage and play them at least a quarter against the Pats 1st string d-line. Feels like we're 2 weeks behind every decent team I have caught glimpses of on replays
  19. I don't even see him as a nice guy. Maybe nice to his family and friendly with a handful of vets he can't afford to piss off. Otherwise a shyster opportunist. If Tepper wasn't embarrassed he would be gone. If another coach came in looking for success Erving and Jordan would actually feel like their jobs were threatened and work harder. Etc...everyone agrees but a handful of contrarians that just like to argue for fun
  20. Also 2nd string D-line sucks ass, no pressure in the 1st quarter. Mostly saved by the Pats new offense not clicking on easy throws
  21. Rewatching now. I agree with the people that are interested in switching Ickey and BC. BC would be better in pass pro at this moment, he's never going to be a road grader in the run and it's not ideal for our RB's to cut all the way outside the left tackle. Kills the RB's momentum and will usually have a CB waiting for them. You want the left or right side interior to open a gap that's an instant 4-5 yards running downhill. Ickey can clear that path now while he works on the nuance of pass pro. Of course Rhule didn't give them any reps in that combo and declared Ickey the LT off of a subpar week 1 performance and he'll look like a dumbass for walking that statement back so he won't even entertain the idea
  22. yeah 6-12 weeks to walk. To get back to NFL shape probably a year, Cam had the same thing. He got slower in general but didn't seem to affect his comfort level, probably a mix of age/weight etc
  23. Didn't catch any games, looks like Malik had a pretty good day?
