  1. To make matters worse, the Giants didn't even play their starting DE's against the Titans. Both are likely back this week
  2. Is the OP ignoring Ian Thomas blowing multiple blocks, holding Garrett on a 17 yard CMC play, Rhule getting a 15 yard penalty for running over a ref on the sideline? The whole thing was out of whack and thats on the coaches game plan and personnel decisions
  3. How do you not use our last time out to try and ice the kicker? Kicking that far twice in a row probably isn't the easiest thing in the world
  4. Ian Thomas was horrible in run blocking/pass pro. He had the holding penalty that had the CMC 17 yarder called back right after this. We looked better with Thomas and Ricci chipping from what I recall
  5. Pretty sure all the rookie coaches but Hackett jumped him in this ranking 27. Matt Rhule – Panthers Career NFL Record: 10-23 Seasons With Team: Third Season It’s my job on here to be honest with you. So, in honor of honesty all I’m going to say about Rhule is if there wasn’t five rookie head coaches he would be No. 32 on the list. There is no culture or plan to be found. The only scenario they don’t finish dead last in the NFC is if Baker Mayfield goes on a otherworldly revenge tour. Prayers up for the Carolina faithful.
  6. I'm not sure this 90 year old D-line coach even knows what team he coaches for
  7. Yup he sucks. Time to start blitzing
  8. He's usually somewhere around here on media lists 32. Matt Rhule, Panthers (age: 47) There's a reason he's on everyone's hot list to be first coached fired in 2022. He got a stay of execution based on a change at quarterback and offensive philosophy. But he has some archaic thoughts on how a modern team should operate to be successful with no real plan. And don't get us started on that whole goal line and end zone thing. This is also not surprising given he works for David Tepper.
  9. Giants first home game, after beating the Titans with a new HC and healthy Barkley. Gonna be gnarly. Only positive to the Browns game is the Giants are extremely average on both O and D-line.
  10. Is that Ian Thomas? I can't read the jersey on the other guy
  11. I'm starting to think Jordan might have a better shot at replacing a guard before Rhule will insert Bozeman at Center
  12. Yeah just in house fluff The short answer is, that Elflein's not really as bad as a lot of people think he is. The fact he was signed on the first day of free agency last year made a lot of people think he was viewed as a long-term answer when he was actually signed out of a certain degree of cost-certainty since he's a good value at his price, and capable of starting at center or being a quality backup. Bozeman was given an opportunity to win a job in camp, and the ankle injury that cost him a couple of weeks came at a bad time. I'm not sure they've settled on anything there, and Bradley could end up starting this year (as he did in 48 games the last three seasons for the Ravens), but I do think that Elflein is better at center than he gets credit for sometimes.
  13. So much for that revamped O-line. I guess they get an average Giants D-line to try and redeem themselves next week
  14. Still was viewed from the outside as mostly horrible game calling Rank 29 6 Carolina Panthers 0-1 Previous rank: No. 23 Baker Mayfield salvaged what was shaping up to be a dreadful Panthers debut with some fourth-quarter heroics, scoring on a 7-yard scramble then hitting Robbie Anderson on a 75-yard touchdown bomb before leading Carolina to the go-ahead field goal in the final minutes. It still wasn’t enough to secure the win, or wipe away the grim nature of the first three quarters of his first start as Sam Darnold’s replacement in Charlotte. It’s fair to wonder why Matt Rhule sent Mayfield into this grudge match against his former team without a strong game plan in place for Christian McCaffrey, the running back dynamo who had just 14 touches. CMC is healthy and freakishly dynamic -- good God, use the man while you can!
  15. Yeah I ran out of options so he's my fantasy QB because he'll put up 300 yards a game, but he's a weirdo
  16. Yeah how he landed Ciara we'll never understand
  17. Geno deserves it, shouldn't have been sitting on the bench for 7 years
  18. Never thought I'd be going for Seattle while Russ is my fantasy QB (out of of limited options) but that was fun to watch a weirdo ego maniac get humbled
  19. I won fantasy week with DangerRuss and he lost the real game. Win/Win
