I'm kinda joking, but Cam did snake his 2 TD opportunities. And he only had to throw that few times because our D destroyed them. I know he's good for a pick or two but I kinda like watching him play
-
PJ 22 for 29 vs the Cards last year then they benched him. Undefeated never lost
-
Yup, we've mostly seen Wilks' zone with Snow not blitzing very much or doing weird poo like blitzing our best CB (Horn) and dropping Burns into coverage. Obviously teams will tear up your zone when they get 3-4 seconds to throw so I'm anticipated Wilks blitzing to force those panic throws that the secondary can vulture. I personally don't like zone but you gotta fully commit with the proper pressure up front if you're gonna do it and Snow wasn't doing that

I hope Fitt did, and wasn't responsible for the idea of the QB trades. His FA pickups were solid so I think he should get the benefit of the doubt, especially after hearing about Rhule even fuging with the social media team. Also I remember the Darnold thing stemmed from Snow saying he looked like Stafford on tape lol. Stafford has been playing like Darnold this year so maybe he was on to something
-
Teams are supposed to adjust every week and usually also at halftime which Snow never did. You pick man/zone, how many to rush/blitz and have some kinda MLB to read the offense. It's a lot easier to adjust the defense than offense.

Yeah, the only reason I went a little conspiracy theory on that is that Stew kinda alluded to Wilks being brought in incase this exact scenario played out as it has. Stew maybe was just generalizing it but worded it like it was intentional. Tepper didn't seem to know we had 3 NFCS championships in a row or that Charlotte had Concerts before Garth Brooks so it probably wasn't his idea lol
-
Yup, Rhule had to get NFL guys in to try to prove that Brady/Blackburn were holding him back, Tepper wanted NFL guys in place for this interim HC situation. So McAdoo/Tabor make sense as coordinators. The thing that wasn't "necessary" but happened was Wilks in with the secondary. I gotta think Tepper said Wilks is your CB coach deal with it
-
yeah they got a bye next week so just go ahead and sit em lol
-
Uh yeah that's why I'm saying we are the other team and can win, especially in light of the fact that they haven't played that great and their best players are injured. Don't worry I'm not going to be upset with Wilks if he doesn't win his first game
-
If you haven't noticed The Rams aren't exactly taking the league by storm this year, and Kupp/Donald didn't practice today with foot injuries. Very winnable game
-
From who? Poundaway maybe after his temper tantrum yesterday
-
They have all the basic game plays every team does, you just run more or less of whatever ones you want. Not too hard to realize we're not good at rushing 4 so we'll probably blitz more, maybe Wilks can convince McAdoo to run the ball more, pretty basic stuff to start that can have the team looking quite a bit different
-
Yup, there actually wasn't anyone to take over HC last year if he wanted to fire Rhule. Wilks/McAdoo/Tabor are experienced enough that they probably already had a plan B setup for when Rhule was eventually canned. Also I kinda believe the Wilks/Snow argument stuff, and I don't know if there's been a situation where your "secondary coach" can verbally dispute with your college coaches favorite DC and not get fired immediately
-
Yeah will be interesting. It's usually Harstfield and the the LB's getting lost and a lack of blitz to match with what he had the secondary doing. Tough to say with Chinn on IR but i'm guessing Jaycee is on Cupp with some kinda backup safety help from whatever zone they end up in. Cupp didn't practice with a foot injury and he's basically their whole offense.
-
That's what I call a DBO!
-
Look out. Most of the time i'd be like yeah whatever, but foot injuries are no joke
-
I dunno, it was in the comments of the other one haha
