  1. He's definitely the best thrower/decision maker of the class. Overall the QB narrative for this year hasn't panned out at all though. Especially with some of these guys opportunities, no one seems like they can take over a game. Richardson is probably the closest to being an obvious difference maker for their team aside from Young just being solid but undersized
  2. They just blitzed with no safeties from what I saw. Just turned it on though
  3. Just turned the Bama game on. So they're trying to get a field goal?
  4. Yeah I'm seeing a lot of guys I'd like to take shots at in mid 1st-late 2nd than any sure fire game changer in the top ten. Problem is most other teams are gonna think the same and not trade up. I think the 2021 draft with Lance and Fields is probably turning teams off from getting too excited about prospects. There was some weird trades last year but I don't remember anything like selling the farm to get into the top 10. The Philly/Saints trade was the weirdest and that was mid 1st round
  5. I haven't caught any of Bryce Young but yeah rough day for the draft QB's. At this point if we're 3 I'd take Will Anderson and then maybe keep an eye on Anthony Richardson for pick 2 if he's there. Either way I think we'll have to stick with 3 qb's through last cuts at the least. None of these guys are showing we should just dump Corral off especially when he's technically costing us a 3rd this year. Not sure if he's worth trading away either, he's had a good attitude to the whole fuged situation he was put in so that's worth something
  6. I'll take Anthony Richardson without our 2nd if he's around if we're talking about development. Worst case scenario he's a short yardage QB his first year
  7. Yeah, at least our line is decent now. I'm imagining him behind a Bears/Bengals line and the imagery is not good
  8. Imagine Stroud playing on the current Bears team instead of Fields for reference. That would be ugly
  9. He's not the "Put the team on your back/Gamer" dude that's so highly sought after. I liked Fields a lot more at this point than what I've seen out of him as far as OSU guys
  10. Yeah he's no PJ when it comes to slinging it but he's less turnover prone. I guess that's what gets all these backup guys lumped together, one little thing missing here or there that they usually can't overcome
  11. I like him but he will probably end up in that backup Geno role and be good at it.
  12. Also we've pretty much seen enough of the college football season to start ranking these guys. Today for instance, if Levis can't do something against Missouri who seem about as mid as you can get, then he's gonna start falling off these top 3 lists. Hendon Hooker is playing Georgia, that'll be another good chance for him to shoot up boards even though they're aren't dominant as they were talent wise last year
  13. I'll go with PFN https://www.profootballnetwork.com/2023-nfl-mock-draft-pfn-mds-week-10-2022/ 3) Carolina Panthers: Will Anderson Jr., EDGE, Alabama With the top two quarterbacks off the board, Panthers fans look to bolster their defense. After keeping Brian Burns through the trade deadline, they add Will Anderson Jr. in this 2023 NFL Mock Draft. An absolute game-changer, Anderson could be an instant impact player for Carolina. Anderson may not have as much of an impact as a quarterback, but he’s a player that can make offensive coordinators rethink their plan of attack. Like his teammate above, he’s most likely ready to prove that his team is still a playoff contender. I can only imagine how terrifying that will look.
  14. Yeah theres a few guys, it's just really pathetic we've somehow gone through like 7 QB's on that list in like 4ish years, not including Cam who they didn't list
  15. Gotta keep an eye on Malik Willis this week as well if he gets the start against the Chiefs. He went 7-14 for 61 yards in his first game last week, but they were running for like 7 yards a carry so wasn't a true showing of where he's at. Minshew is chilling right now, if he gets playing time and there's no drop off in offensive performance he can make some money next year. Biggest issue with him is he's stuck on the last year of his rookie contract and the Eagles refused to trade him for good reason because that's a solid backup. Jags traded him away for a 6th rounder because they're the Jags
  16. The FA QB list next year is not pretty. I guess it never really is when we're talking about vet free agent QB's that can't get a real contract https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents/quarterback/?ref=trending-pages
  17. Yeah I think you gotta go with PJ/Minshew/Heinicke type, Corral, and we have 2 2nd's, 2 4th's, 2 5th's. Take a shot at a QB with one of those picks. 4ths and 5ths are hit or miss at any position. BPA in the 1st, D-line if we stay high, maybe Noah Sewell at LB if we slide back to around 10
  18. Yeah it's tricky with the college stuff. I think it's fair to say Mccall's WR is a step above the bum CB's they play week in and out. It definitely makes drafting a guy like that higher more difficult because they play on a smaller stage with less pressure, and they're usually throwing against secondaries of guys who won't even be UDFA's. Senior Bowl would be a good showing for him but he's not eligible since he won't graduate by December, he could also play in college again next year if he thinks it would bump his stock
  19. Well they have their #1 pick QB so they should be upset about being 4-4. Seems like same old poo of tanking/sucking and getting the #1 pick, and then doing nothing to invest in an O-line to protect him, just like the Cam treatment.
  20. Might as well throw the Corral preseason film in the garbage, Rhule put him in a position to fail. He put TMJ in a position to fail, he ignored the fact we upgraded OC in Bozeman, who knows how many other behind the scenes moves he made based on who would kiss his ass or not
  21. Yes and he's currently not playing worthy of being in the top 10. Not sure how many of these guys are draft eligible, Drake Maye obviously not
