Matt Rhule: “I wish I never took the job”
Jackie Lee replied to CashNewton22's topic in Carolina Panthers
He just gave Nebraska the same sermon he gave the last 3 teams, just substituted some words to fit the occasion. It's pretty disgusting he's using his son as a pawn in all this as well. Just last week he said he didn't want to move so his son could have a normal senior year in high school, but now his son is a "Youtube kid" and showed him the Nebraska Tunnel walk 5k times. 3 years ago it was his son loves Asheville or something -
Considering what the media teams actually let him release I can't imagine what comes straight out of his mouth in the locker room and on the field

What a fuging joke. He threw poo at the wall for 3 years at the QB position instead of keeping Teddy and drafting a QB. Every move he made was to cover up his coaching deficiencies. He wouldn't play TMJ, he wouldn't play Bozeman, he wouldn't play BC over Michael Jordan! What a fuging waste of time. I can't believe people were defending this guy and shitting on the realists that saw through the BS -
If Darnold plays well,do they keep him around?
Jackie Lee replied to Jmac's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yup, when you start losing the Fitzpatricks and Philip Rivers, Brees', and the other ones that didn't retire are falling off dramatically like Ryan/Russ/Cam/Brady/Rodgers it's rough. There was an insane amount of solid 10-20 year franchise QB's until the last year or two -
The NFL taking the Chiefs-Broncos off prime time lol. That's enough Broncos night games for one year. We get Dolphins/Chargers instead

The FA list is pretty comical. Teddy/Baker/Sam/PJ/Heinicke/Kyle Allen. Been there done that. Then you have Jimmy G, Brissett, Minshew. Then you have Keenum/Dalton and a couple other aging backups that may or may not even be interested in football. I don't really want any of them for more than $5M max -
Remember that time Derrick Brown got on twitter....

Also, it's you're* not your. Not that even politicians need to have high school level grammar to get elected nowadays, just sayin -
He's starting to get projected as a day 2 guy. Haven't watched much on him, but I'm not seeing how Levis is still a top 10 pick in the media when it seems like Nix, Ward, Hooker, Penix all had more compelling seasons. I'd much rather go BPA and grab one of those guys on day 2 than reach for Levis

Matt Rhule Hired as Nebraska’s New HC
Jackie Lee replied to Prowler2k18's topic in Carolina Panthers
Imagine being stuck in a room with Rhule and Rattler at the same time -
They really don't have a reasonable way out til 2025 and that would still be over $30M in dead cap that year
-
Now this is some horrible football
-
Yeah Pickett sucks, afraid to sling it
-
Sounds about right
-
What's general consensus on Pickett so far? I don't think i've caught any of their games since he took over

Article: "Teams should not wear black jerseys"

Deadspin has been trash ever since Hulk Hogan sued Gawker and they had to file for bankruptcy. All the good writers left -
Unitas? That's like playing football with your dad in the backyard. DE's like Burns would decapitate that kinda QB now
-
True, the way it's playing out it seems like McDermott may have gotten more credit than deserved. The Josh Allen/Daboll connection was legit. Dorsey seems to be regressing to the Cam philosophy of running the guy into the ground if Diggs isn't open
-
He's also off the bench during a holiday week, the Seattle game will be a better tell of where he's at because they'll put up points but at the same time their D isn't anything special. A good QB should put up good numbers on them
-
Maybe we'll get a Samsanity run! That Linsanity doc was good
-
Either way Wilks starts up front with the O-line and D-line which has always been the key to success no matter your personal preference of run or pass. The score dictates that and whether you have a QB/WR's/CB's that can get their jobs done. We can all agree having a solid O-line is a major fuging relief finally
-
His last fluff piece was about learning from our D players while he was on IR. Who knows, he's 25 years old and has 5 games to prove himself before being a career backup
-
The first DJ Td was nice, the long DJ pass was nice, TMJ pass was nice. He threw 19 times. Russ threw like 35 times for nothing that looked nice
