That's great. That means no matter what, even if Wilks gets to be the motivator/leader guy, the lame ass soft zone DC philosophy of Holcom/Wilks won't be a factor any more. This seems like Fitt may have a little bit more involvement/Tepper is listening to Fitts advice

Woah that was crazy
-
Hmm Lamar didn't even travel with the team for the game..
-
Ouch how do you drop that
-
bad sack there but Vikings did have to use a timeout
-
They declined his 5th year option for $20M, they can still franchise tag him they just have to pay more like $30M
-
That was an uneventful last 20 minutes of football
-
Him playing like complete ass for the whole season isn't a weird reason to hate him being our 1st round pick. You actually thinking he could be successful at the NFL level just because he was the QB at your school is the weird and troubling thing
-
I know it's a QB friendly system but I'm watching the highlights and Purdy is more efficient than everything we've tried since Cam went down. Pretty crazy they gave up so much for Trey Lance, went through the whole Jimmy G game manager thing and this kid is getting it done. Obviously great weapons but he doesn't seem to overthink things. Definitely gives a bump towards getting an offensive coach and finding a good DC. The chances of being that stacked talent wise on both sides is also pretty rare no matter what you do in the draft or FA

Jim Caldwell is a lock for an interview or already has correct?
-
What does this have to do with whether Demeco Ryans decides to reschedule his interview after the 9ers game today?
-
I'd imagine Ryans decided to postpone since he has a playoff game today. Seems like it would be a bit of a distraction for him and the defense
-
Ryans could still happen after the game today. If that falls through it will be painfully obvious if they just grab any random guy next week to satisfy the rule

Looking like a good one unless thunderstorms delay it

Levis for what reason. He might be better than McKee but that's about it on this list

So which QB do we think will be available at #9?
Jackie Lee replied to NAS's topic in Carolina Panthers
Hmm take millions of dollars to potentially win a college championship and hit the draft next year, or get drafted by Texans or Colts....Just turned 21 in October as well. -

I think Stroud generally just got the ball out fast under pressure, Bryce scrambled a little more. Could be wrong but that's generally how it looked from casually catching a quarter or two of the games while at work -

I believe the bottom number on that chart is college rate and the left side/vertical is their NFL rate so far. -

Good stat here for collapsing under pressure -
Yeah Tepper needs to go on Undercover Boss-Panthers edition before he starts rationalizing any more staffing hires based on irrelevant things he personally can relate to.

Something about both being "business minded" or having a "CEO style approach" to his coaching. That kinda stuff is always really cheesy to me.
-
And Jimmy G taking a pay cut while in basically the same situation, although it's too late to work out something like that. I seriously don't understand what their plan is. Stidham and a rookie? Baker/Teddy/Darnold and a rookie? 46 year old Brady competing in the AFC after looking like he's basically done?

Between pressers and play calling I'm leaning towards Johnson. He's young but seems like he's probably actually more mature than Mcvay/Mcdaniel in that age range
-
Steichen will be virtual, and might have the whole Super Bowl thing distracting him for another month. Not sure if Johnson will be in person or not but if he's from the area I wouldn't be surprised if he makes the trek down.
