  1. That GA game could be every week for Bryce in the NFL. The more film I see the more nervous I get about him when there's legit D-line pressure
  2. If Stroud and Young go 1/2, It's gonna be tough for Carter and Anderson to not go 3/4. It's really not that mind blowing of a 1st round class after those 4. Pick 5-mid 2nd round is kinda whatever you need and who you like kinda for that need kinda thing
  3. Not really believing that they realistically expect that much. The best Centers top out at like $12M and Boze was ranked like 26th in pass pro last year. He's ranked between 5th-10th best free agent center depending where you look
  4. Yeah, not sure he's gonna flick 60-65 yard bombs standing still either. Stroud made those deep balls look easy at the combine
  5. If Stroud and Bryce switched teams I don't think Bryce could have done what Stroud did vs GA. That all gets into the complexities of game plans and all that but Stroud actually had to show off some arm strength and power running that Bryce just couldn't do on a weekly basis. If you take Bryce you gotta build everything around the offensive scheme like Brees. Stroud seems a little more flexible and gives you a couple more options when teams scheme a certain way against you, force him in the pocket no big deal. Go man, he can run a little more and take a couple hits which was the main question mark until the GA game. Accuracy on the outs is obviously no problem
  6. Gotta say I didn't like how Young didn't throw at the combine. Stroud lit it up with accuracy, and actually threw deeper than AR. Levis was wearing capri pants so I couldn't take him seriously. Can Young throw 60+ yards standing still? Maybe he can I'm just asking
  7. CJ vs GA. This has probably been posted before and I'm just starting it now, but it's going to be more detailed than McCowns kinda fluffy Scheme vids. I don't always agree with who this guy blames for bad plays but he does the most thorough game breakdowns.
  8. He's pointing out the 2" sneaker soles..It's like Tom Cruise shoes
  9. Same. It's not like it's the top 2 DE's or something. It's the face of the franchise. You don't get this coaching staff of QB experts for them to say "we liked both, either would do". How do you think that QB and the other guys in the locker room would feel about that? I would be offended if Fitt and Reich came out in the presser after trading back 1 spot and said "we liked both so we let the Texans pick their favorite so we could get an extra 2nd rounder". What if you do the trade and then the Texans trade #1 to the Colts last minute and they take our guy? We'd look like fuging morons
  10. I think the most fair relevant size comparison would be PJ Walker. 5'11" and 215. Dunno if Bryce can put on a legit 15-20 pounds to get there but I didn't think PJ's size/height was his biggest issue. PJ didn't play like he was 2" shorter than Baker. For the record I've been sold on Stroud since the Georgia game
  11. All I've seen is it's a 2 year deal, dunno if that includes reworking this year or literally two more years added. OTC's extension option says it would clear $9M but dunno how they came up with that math because it doesn't say how many years their hypothetical extension would be.
  12. He played at 240 in 2016, not sure if 230 or 240 is the biggest deal in the world since he's only 6' tall. That's pretty stocky either way
  13. It's a lot different than a Sean Ryan type who never played the game
  14. Yeah literally the first thing they did when they got to the building
  15. It's more fun checking out the Saints board. No ones really saying it out in the open but I'm pretty sure they'd rather have the 1st pick in the draft and our staff than Carr and Dennis Allen lol. They all sound scared of Stroud
  16. Having $75M in cap space, it's good to have your QB and WR1 locked in so you can be aggressive in FA and throw money at Defense and O-line, then go BPA in the draft.
  17. Yeah I saw the news 3 hours late so I had to scroll back and find the details. I was assuming another 1st or at least another 2nd or 3rd from this year. At very least 39 instead of 61.
  18. No doubt, and all this dead cap from Rhule era deals will be gone. Clean slate as far as the old regime goes. Shaq is really the only bad contract left to deal with
  19. That's a nice number but let's take another look at it after free agency. If we get anyone legit it will be backloaded to the next couple years
  20. Yeah at least let him get healthy and see if another team gets an injury and needs a backup or something. He won't have any value until training camp
  21. Because you want to set a tone and let the whole team and fanbase know that you got the best Qb in the draft? Whether it works out or not is another story later down the line. Franchise QB has to do a lot more than just be equal talent on the field as well. It's not like 2 really good DE's going top 2 and either one are really good and don't have to talk to the media/lead the locker room and all that stuff every week
