If we sit at 8 and take a Safety like I keep seeing on the mock simulators and then don't pick again til 57 it'll be a rough one. I know they can't force anyone to trade up but it'd be nice to pick up an extra 2nd to move back a little and try to fill a few holes on defense. We need guys everywhere on D but I'd much rather double up on D-line guys mid 1st-mid 2nd than grab a S or CB at 8

Yeah fug that. If we're moving back in the 1st to grab an extra 2nd it needs to be in the 40's, not even further behind our Rams pick at 57 lol. Those are basically 3rd rounders

Yeah not picking in the 2nd til #57 is not ideal in this kind of draft. Would be nice to add another 2nd somewhere further up in the 30's-40's

Yeah it's still early, but almost anyone worth drafting the first two days would be an immediate upgrade to our pass rushing room lol. We are horrible

Especially a position you can get a solid player at in the 5th round. If it was an elite QB or Pass rusher that fell to the 2nd because of injury I would get it, we shouldn't have even been looking at healthy running backs in the 2nd considering all of our needs in other areas.
