  1. When has the NFL been a sympathetic sport lol
  2. Yeah they also said his Keisha Cole cover was amazing lol. Horrid
  3. Or either of them letting Bryce run O-line meetings during training camp? lol.
  4. Yeah that with Reich seeming completely unmotivated and I'm assuming Tepper being adamant about playing Bryce even though he doesn't seem ready has been a bad scenario. Judging by the Tabor press so far he's not trying to do anything drastic either lol. I don't blame him really, he's just like I'm gonna ride it out and coach special teams again next year somewhere, not my problem.
  5. Please don't turn my thread into a 2 person pissing contest lol we have enough of those already
  6. Good point by Cam Wolfe that Bryce just too California laid back in the huddle/getting the calls in for them to run effective pre snap motions. That combined with his lazy dropbacks/crazy footwork/hopping in the air to throw is gonna be tough to fix. Almost like you just want a completely different QB
  7. Sounds like the coaching "dream team" was actually too many cooks in the kitchen. I put that on Tepper for doing his usual 180 reactionary move to what didn't work previously with a bunch of college guys with zero experience. 500 years of combined NFL experience! What could go wrong!
  8. Yeah like a true pastor lol. Seems like a weird way to go out for a super religious dude, taking back play calling from Brown so he could go out on his own terms to the detriment of the team. Sounds like it's been a weeks long background distraction that's been stunting any possible growth involving younger players and maybe Brown. At least Tabor sounds like he's going to let Brown do his thing with Caldwell there for him as an advisor. At least Brown is interested in attempting to do a good job for the future of his career vs Reich who was somehow mailing it in but stubborn about his philosophies at the same time
  9. Does he do anything Panthers related besides a couple preseason games maybe? Pretty sure he'd be fine with his NFL network gigs and he just does the pod on the side
  10. Bottom 5 in motion, bottom 5 in play action. Yeah trying to get a 5'10" to throw out of a static shotgun formation wasn't workin. They should just force him into under center play action/ throwing deep shots and see if he can do it or not.
  11. Just started this so dunno if it's any good but it's a long one
  12. Reich said during the offseason this was his last coaching job. Seems like that would be a major red flag during the interview process if it came up, though judging by this and the Rhule hire I don't think Tepper knows how to interview people for the job
  13. Not sure, forgot one of them worked for the team
  14. Yeah, she's grown too, not a little teenager hate tweeting.
  15. Franks daughter liked this tweet with Florio saying Reich didn't want Bryce lol.
  16. Franks daughter out here on Twitter liking and replying
  17. I mean they wouldn't let him qb sneak either which Brees did often. Also looks more than 2" taller here
  18. Yeah generally you wanna play action from under center, but Bryce turning his back to the line, and then turning around and stepping up into a throw seems like a no go with his height
  19. I don't care to dive into the clips but Bryce has turned down numerous open windows to WR's. Either because he can't see them or doesn't have enough zip to get the ball into a tight window. I'm still in awe of the fact he admitted he'll sometimes blindly throw a ball to a spot even if he can't see what's going on due to his vision, That's worked out like twice this year "Capital A anticipation!" as qb school calls it
  20. Agree with all of that, and the cray thing is Bryce was obviously the lowest ceiling guy vs Stroud/AR/Levis if his computer brain didn't work out. Which it seems like has malfunctioned vs actual NFL defenses. Even if he made the perfect decisions mentally his arm can't get the ball into tight windows or down the field in that split second you have to deliver. Jumping around like a frog instead of setting his feet doesn't help either but he has no choice when he's 6" shorter than whoever is blitzing him
  21. Who cares about that dude, him and Kunkel can fug off to their grifter island together
  22. So many copers on this thread with sub 1k posts lol. Even if Bryce can clean up his game and get a decent o-line he's still not going to scare any secondary. No zip, his arm probably maxes out at 50mph which is slow motion in the NFL
  23. One could argue he's a bust and you should play Dalton so you can evaluate the actual roster and Browns play calling to see if you should retain anyone at all. Bryce can actually compete for the job in camp next summer instead of being handed the job after a week like last summer
  24. He wasn't really hyped up he was just handled like a no brainer #1 pick. If anything he got into weird poo with the media when he said something to effect of "There's more to life than playing football". Good for him but there are thousands of guys that fight tooth and nail just to get a chance to get noticed on a football field and possibly change their families lives forever. He came off as he could take it or leave it because he would be comfortable either way
