  1. Stock down WR Xavier Legette Legette was his own toughest critic after the first camp practice, when he chastised himself for not paying closer attention to the details and for failing to “leave everything out there on the field.” It hasn’t been all bad for the first-round pick from South Carolina. He just hasn’t yet made the type of splash plays that characterized his final college season and that prompted the Panthers to trade up to draft him with the 32nd pick. The knock on Legette leaving South Carolina was his route running, so that might be part of his game that takes time to develop. But with good size and straight-ahead speed, Legette should still find ways to impact the offense as a rookie.
  2. Stock up WR Jonathan Mingo The second-year wideout barely resembles the guy who looked unsure in his routes and in general during an underwhelming rookie season. Mingo is running crisp patterns, getting open and grabbing everyone’s attention, most notably Bryce Young’s. Young said it’s clear Mingo is playing with more confidence in his second NFL camp. “You can see him playing more freely. Even though it’s a new system, he understands the system,” Young said. “He’s running routes really free. Doing a great job on and off coverage, having a plan with stuff. He’s made some really big-time catches.” Mingo needs to carry the momentum into the season. But after joining Young in California this summer for throwing sessions, the two are very much on the same page.
  3. I dunno what this is but I don't think it qualifies as a rebuild. I think it's just a poo show throwing poo at the wall hoping the qb you overpaid for gets it together. If he doesn't next year will be the rebuild, or if the rest of the team actually looks decent they'll just get a vet and try to compete
  4. Sounds like the makings of a great back up qb
  5. yeah he's smooth but not much tape on adversity straight up punishing people
  6. Someone was talking about trading Thielen. Point is Diontae is the only other WR on the roster that has actually had success in the NFL. Don't care what either of them do after this year
  7. He can break some tackles but generally seems like he had wide open lanes to get momentum, I don't really see beast mode/Stewart level or anything
  8. That's why i'm not hyped on Brooks, seems like that same kinda finesse rb behind the texas line. I prefer punishers, wear the d-line down with punishment, not dancing around and finding a hole
  9. And having like 5 dudes with different coaching opinions on offense lol. Tepper maybe learned something finally. Dream team was just an ego team that didn't mesh
  10. Blackshear is hungry, and he can also return on special teams
  11. Last year was an unknown, this year we have expectations!
  12. I would assume more for the actual preseason game so he can't get hit but if there's a joint padded practice I'd imagine they'll go light with him
  13. There's a couple people on here that just want to argue for arguments sake, best to ignore them
  14. He gives me vet vibes. Has all the mentals but maybe not a burner on go routes etc
  15. Can't wait for Jets practice when the gloves come off, this year with the twitter cams it should be pretty evident how he's actually doing
  16. CSX can be quite condescending don't take it personally
  17. Like $7M a year for this and next then done, not a huge amount for a solid check down guy
  18. Seems like Canales actually cares about his guys and football more than the last couple coaches that were more about the job title and stuck in their old ways or just grifting in Rhules case. Plus he's younger and in shape mentally and physically so he could probably smell DN's bs a mile away
