The current obstacle is getting Tepper to get over his Bryce obsession and just field a legit football team. I will say Dan seems to be an upgrade at scouting vets of Fitt, and I'm going to guess he's got better relationships with the actual players as a peer. Only a couple degrees of separation as a player from a lot of these guys so I'm guessing players trust him a lot more than Fitt

I think we've hit the point in FA where teams are gonna sit til after the draft before signing these caliber guys. Either you luck out on a good draft pick, or someone else lucks out in the draft and wants to unload someone from their current roster. We definitely need more guys before camp but we can upgrade on the waiver wire during preseason cuts and edge guys are pretty much plug and play. If we can't get Clowney maybe they can land Gilmore and go DE at 33 or 39 with CB being pretty solid
