  1. I'm more concerned that all they've done is "played catch" at a voluntary workout when Stroud and Diggs immediately got together on their own after that trade and started working.
  2. Kaye gets you two in his final mock PANTHERS 7-ROUND MOCK DRAFT HAUL Second round (33rd overall pick): Xavier Worthy, WR, Texas Trade with Packers: CAR trades the 39th overall pick (via NYG) to GB for 41st (via NYJ) and 126th overall picks. Second round (41st overall pick via GB from NYJ): Edgerrin Cooper, LB, Texas A&M Third round (65th overall pick): Ben Sinnott, TE, Kansas State Fourth round (101st overall): Kris Abrams-Draine, CB, Missouri Fourth round (126th overall via GB): Braelon Allen, RB, Wisconsin Fifth round (141st overall via NYG): Brenden Rice, WR, Southern California Fifth round (142nd overall via TEN): Beaux Limmer, C, Arkansas Seventh round (240th overall pick via PIT): Evan Anderson, NT, Florida Atlantic
  3. Yeah I want to take one, just not necessarily two guys in the 30's if BPA is at a different position. I'm cool with taking another WR at 65 or in the 100's if 33/39 is BPA elsewhere. The same argument can be made for CB or Edge rusher, there's a lot more WR's than CB's and Edge guys in this draft so if one of those is BPA in the 30's it would be hard to pass up
  4. I'm not sure how many WR targets people think are going to go around either, since Canales wants to be run first. Maybe 50 left over after Johnson and Thielen? I would actually like to see ISM get some snaps as well. I'm indifferent about Mingo, never liked the pick
  5. I would be surprised if they prioritized RB over CB. Jaycee, Dane Jackson, and Troy Hill is all we have. People find starting level RB's on day 3 all the time
  6. I would definitely go Pearsall at 65 if he's still on the board. Won't be surprised if he goes earlier though, he's probably the next best route runner after Ladd but has a little more size and can take on more contact/contested catches
  7. Also we need one for the future obviously, but how many targets are we expecting a rookie to get after Johnson and Thielen? If it's not a slot/route runner type guy I don't think many of those 2.7 second balls are going to a vertical guy. If BPA is a corner or edge that would have immediate impact I'd be bummed if we reached for an XL or Troy Franklin over them
  8. Yeah that's what I was thinking would be best. On top of the new playbook, new oc, working out the cadence while learning how to identify defenses, could get really ugly without a vet C with legit snaps in the league.
  9. Corbett at Center with Cade Mays as his backup is hardly a set plan. I think we could get another WR at 65 that would still improve our roster, and maybe actually give ISM some more snaps
  10. Yeah hopefully they won't spend half the time studying film bashing Thielen lol
  11. Yeah they still got Darnold jerseys to get rid of
  12. According to ESPN stats, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are 24th in the league in motion at the snap, only using it 14% of the time. The team does employ motion before the snap quite frequently, though, as it runs motion %43.7 of the time in general. When asked specifically about motion at the snap, Bucs offensive coordinator Dave Canales confirmed that it's in Tampa Bay's arsenal and that it can be a big help on offense. "It's a part of what we're doing," Canales said. "It allows us to stretch the defense horizontally. All you're trying to do is create a moment of indecision for the defense and then that helps the run game, helps the pass game. Switching the responsibilities to create free-access releases at the line, that's a big part of it." Tampa Bay's low percentage of using this type of play doesn't mean that it won't increase in the future, though. Canales said that while some teams are doing a great job at implementing it in their offense, others like the Bucs are catching up to speed. He mentioned that he first saw heavy usage of pre-snap motion when he was with the Seattle Seahawks and played the Los Angeles Rams twice a year. "[The Los Angeles Rams] really utilized that from the time Sean [McVay] had been there in LA. It's something that's been around for a while, and I think that the rest of us are learning how to utilize it."
