  1. Curious if he'll have that attention to detail after a bad game/individual performance. I do like that he seems to have an enthusiasm about the actual game of football, not just playing politics in the pressers like the majority of coaches I've listened to. Doesn't mean it's an approach that will work but at least it's a little different
  2. He didn't break the top 32 on a few top 50 qb lists I saw this week..
  3. Happens all the time, especially with the transfer portal now, some kid previously stuck on a bench might go off somewhere
  4. This. Even good QB's on good teams gotta make the play when the play presents itself, you only get so many of them per game even if your team is loaded with talent.
  5. If anything it's pretty obvious what they need to work on, last offseason they just went straight in with blind faith and that backfired immediately. I can't imagine how many qb's that didn't make it in the league could have stuck around for a few more years with this long of a leash and investment in the pieces around them just to see if they can game manage at an acceptable level
  6. Yeah seeing the hesitation on some of these plays is rough. It's mental but it's also a side product of the footwork which affects his velocity. It's all kind of a mess
  7. Didn't watch yet but haven't had many thorough game break downs that weren't the QB school Thielen basher weirdo. I imagine this guy doesn't totally know what to look for in footwork etc but may be interesting to see some different angles
  8. 32. Bryce Young, Carolina Panthers Young was really set up to fail last season. The revolving door at playcaller, the coaching staff getting replaced, and his No. 1 target being prehistoric Adam Thielen were all pretty big obstacles for a rookie to overcome. Now, he has Diontae Johnson and Jeffrey Boomhauer- whoops, I meant Xavier Legette- to throw the ball to. Plus, Dave Canales as the singular guiding hand for Young at head coach will benefit him. He’s low on the list, but I’m hopeful he’ll make a nice leap forward. https://touchdownwire.usatoday.com/lists/nfl-top-quarterbacks-patrick-mahomes-josh-allen-justin-herbert-lamar-jackson/
  9. Some Seahawks blog killing him in the top 50 lol. 46. Bryce Young - Panthers https://seahawkswire.usatoday.com/gallery/nfl-quarterback-rankings-after-2024-nfl-draft-top-50/
  10. 31 Bryce Young-CAROLINA PANTHERS QB It'll be hard for Young, last year's No. 1 pick, not to take a step forward after an often-hapless debut. New coach Dave Canales should help, along with a refreshed receiving corps.
  11. We could technically still go down 1 on that list lol.
  12. So he shouldn't try to do too much, yet he's going to mold the qb, install a new offense, and call the plays on offense on top of being a first time head coach? Sounds like too much
  13. Uh who? Fire clifford, get Boston coach, fire Boston coach, Rehire Cliff, refire Cliff, hire another Boston coach
  14. Your boy is at 31 in the new CBS QB rankings. Behind everyone but Daniel Jones lol https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/2024-nfl-qb-power-rankings-brock-purdy-jordan-love-crack-top-10-in-first-post-draft-pecking-order/ 31 Bryce YoungCAROLINA PANTHERS QB It'll be hard for Young, last year's No. 1 pick, not to take a step forward after an often-hapless debut. New coach Dave Canales should help, along with a refreshed receiving corps.
