  1. Yeah I'm curious as to when we'll see some type of urgency out of him or his coaches. They're doing a really good job of hiding OTA's from the media for whatever reason
  2. He literally just said last week he's not motivated by negativity/chip on his shoulder type stuff. I don't know why you would say that if you didn't mean it because most great players relish in that type of thing and aren't afraid to admit it
  3. What's going on with the lack of media at OTA's? I hope they're not doing another hiding/coddling thing until they're forced to play publicly
  4. I had to go with Tepper, hopefully he gets sick of it and stays in Miami and just deals with the money. Ideally he would sell the team
  5. Forgot the other tweet with the qb rankings
  6. In addition to that he has us going QB in next years draft
  7. Ranks Bryce no.4 behind Stroud/AR/Levis I just don't feel it with Young. And what do I mean by that? Well, firstly, I didn't see any flashes from Young as a rookie. You know, a few games-- maybe not even consecutively -- where he looked confident and poised and that combination led to quality results. There was the 300-plus-yard effort late in the season against Green Bay that stood out. But even if that game was encouraging, it was thoroughly outweighed by disastrous performances. In my weekly grading project of the first- and second-year quarterbacks in 2023, Young had one "A" grade and two grades in the "B" range. All of his other starts ranged from a "C+" to an "F." Yes, that Packers game was impressive; it's just too difficult for me to see him repeating that type of performance on a regular basis because of his lack of physical tools. He doesn't have a strong arm by NFL standards. It's not brutal, but it's not doing him favors frequently. He's a good athlete but not nearly dynamic enough to repeatedly make defenders miss or scamper away from oncoming defenders often. His accuracy and processing are his two strengths, but neither are so spectacular they negate his hard-to-improve weaknesses. The Panthers did make somewhat of a concerted effort to build around him, trading for underneath separator Diontae Johnson in March before moving up in the draft to select South Carolina's Xavier Legette. I still think Carolina's receiver group will struggle to collectively get open, but the offensive line should be sturdier with free-agent adds Robert Hunt at right guard and Damien Lewis at left guard. I don't have enough belief in Young's tools, nor the roster in Carolina, to predict Young making a leap in Year 2.
  8. And uh Bryce isn't the underdog.. He's been given the best coaching and been on the best teams at every level since he was 8 years old, and he was drafted #1 overall. That is the opposite of underdog. Despite the tough year he didn't exactly pull a Rocky in the off season and train his ass off either. I don't understand how these people don't see how that is hard to root for
  9. His size is affecting his footwork, which is affecting his throwing velocity and accuracy. It's really not that hard to tie together. It's not all about his size, it's the trickle down effect of it and if they can find a work around without him resorting to these bad habits. Unless he's an absolute brainiac of a football mind it's a lot of effort spent on an uphill battle for the coaches and other offensive players
  10. Time stamped the Bryce critic on this vid as well. Same glaring issues with the unique drop back, tippy toes, etc that come from his size that most didn't think would affect his game as much as it actually did
  11. I liked the "He can scramble though!" lol.
  12. Here's the the video breakdown of Bryce after Underdog bashed him on twitter last week when they were doing the initial film review. It's lengthy so I time stamped it for Bryce's segment
  13. I mean if someone offered a reasonable trade offer I would move on asap
  14. No, sounds like he lost a lot of credibility writing a hit piece on Sean Mcdermott a couple years ago in this similar vein. Gotta try to get those subscribers up on his fuging substack lol. Also say your name when bashing someone publicly instead of hiding behind anonymity
  15. I knew nothing about this Dunne guy but upon doing a little research he seems like a real asshole
  16. Fields knew he was done in Chicago, asked to be traded to the Steelers. The GM honored that and traded him to the Steelers, both spoke well of how the other handled the situation. Anything else is gossip
  17. No way he's rushing for 1100 yards and 8 td's like Fields on that 2022 team. If we're talking physical talent
  18. They were definitely more focused on being right about the draft pick than which QB would actually pan out. It got tiresome, and I'm pretty sure 80% of them have not appeared since week 2 of last year?
  19. it's almost like maybe not draft a Bryce or Caleb #1 over all when they didn't do anything to elevate their teams in their final college seasons. I guess you have to pick someone and at least they didn't do a ridiculous trade up for him. Cam was the best player at Auburn and willed his team to a championship, the other 2 just mentioned didn't even make the college playoffs in their senior years. How is that not a red flag?
  20. His tape definitely looks more like 207. Someone just compared him to Gurely who actually played in the 220's in college and he looked a lot different than Brooks
  21. Not doubting he looks like ass, but the lines aren't even in pads yet, I'm guessing they're just playing patty cake. It did seem like he had 4 seconds to throw every USC clip I've casually viewed
  22. Broncos feel comfortable putting out footage of their young qb slinging it. We didn't even allow media on day 2 for whatever reason
