I think it wasn't a case of them being THAT GOOD or Green Bay being THAT BAD. I think Green Bay honestly was just not ready to play that day and that falls on the head Coach LaFleur. They'll rebound and beat whomever they face next game. As far as the Saints go, Jameis Winston is their QB. I don't know what else can be said. If you looked closely, you'll see it's the same Winston who was with the Bucs. I think our D will make things very difficult for him next sunday. The only question is will Rhule adjust the Offensive Gameplan and spread the ball out more to the Wide Receivers instead of running CMC into the ground again?

The Saints will come marching in. And Postgame they will be carried out. Or at least Jameis Winston will after Burns, Brown, Reddick and company get done with him.
-
Is DeShaun Watson better than him? Just asking....
-
AU, do you enjoy being a contrarian around here?

This was one hell of a game. And what a turn of events. Lamar gets stripped of the ball. We then think the Raiders will kick the FG but for some reason they are too late in getting onto the field to kick it so it's a Delay of game which pushes them out of range a bit so they have to pass it. And what a pass that was. Or maybe it was just a loft into the air? I thought they were just going to try and get a bit closer again to kick the Game-winner. NO ONE was expecting THAT. LOL Regardless, GREAT GAME.

holy balls.....that was just hideous. Carr threw a pass at 100 mph instead of dialing it back a bit. This is going to end in a Ravens victory and more BJ's given to Lamar Jackson again. Can't make this sh-t up. lol

Sam needs to be better in the Redzone with his passes. He left 2 TDs there that would've had the Final score be in the 30s for Carolina. While that is nitpicking, keep in mind that the Panthers need all the points they can get against the better teams in order to win and Sam cannot afford to miss wide-open receivers in the endzone for a TD 'cause it *will* come back to haunt them.
-
But you just basically said no one was being critical of Darnold in an earlier post, though. So technically, you were wrong in that regard. The thing you were right on was that Sam does need a ton of developmental work to get better.
-
^^^^ Hey @mav1234, @Jon Snow, I just edited it because I forgot to add replies to a few other posts. I'm sure you both agree that Sam will improve on his redzone play as he gets more familiar with his receivers and teammates.
-
Maybe it also could be the playcalling by Rhule who told him to just go to CMC early and often? eh. It should've been a bit more on-target than it was thrown. He'll get better at that as he gets more familiar with his teammates. "Damn" Darnold? lol. WHAT A PASS BY SAM "DAMN" DARNOLD!! WOOOOOOO!! Does Rhule even remember we have Royce on the team? That pass to Robby is why chemistry is important. He, DJ, and TMJ need to get on the same page redzone-wise. And maybe practice endzone passing with Ian Thomas & Dan Arnold as well. Not only that but if you noticed, he threw it a bit off-balance, too. That was just pure arm-talent (and talent overall) by Sam. And people say Zach Wilson has better Arm Strength than Sam. GTFO of here with that sh-t.

So is this thread about sh-tposting?
-
Welp...this thread is now irrelevant.
-
Well he did try but he missed. Still, that connection will happen eventually.
-
If Sam connected with Arnold and TMJ instead of overthrowing them in the endzone, the word "barely" in your post would be missing. But @Varkingis correct. Whether it's the worst team in the History of the NFL or not, it still counts as 1 in the win column. (1-0)
-
That's actually true. We never heard about Horn aside from that TD grab by Davis which means he was doing a good job for his first professional game.
-
Hey @rayzor, is he gone finally?
-
Well considering that Brown is built like a truck, I'm not surprised.
-
Hey that's right....Where is the "Great" Quinnen Williams that was going to destroy Sam Darnold? PFFFT!!
-
It helps that he's only 23 so he's still learning how to be an NFL QB.

Coaching made this game Closer then it should have been..
glenwo2 replied to WOW!!'s topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah...my jaw dropped when that call was made. I mean...okay. Santoso missed an XP. So what? Give him a chance to make a 49-yarder. At least if he misses, we can blame his ass instead of Rhule's. -
Too much CMC, bad coaching, will take the W.

If Sam connected with Arnold and TMJ, the final would've been in the 30 plus. -

Sam overthrew Dan Arnold and TMJ in the endzone. 12 points left off the board (I would say 14 but I am not confident in our Kicker right now kicking the XP). This game would be in the 30s if he was a bit more accurate. That said, however, this did look more like Sam needing to get acclimated to his receivers. Hope that improves(especially with accuracy) in the coming weeks.
