  1. I can just picture it : So we have Sam, for example, be the "sacrificial lamb" by playing behind a sh*tty O-Line while our drafted Rookie QB looks on from the sideline and thinks "I hope my Health Insurance is good". Yeah...the OL had BETTER be addressed this offseason, PERIOD.
  2. I wouldn't count the Cowboys game as a bad game mainly 'cause he came right back and threw back-to-back TD passes to offset the 2 INTs he threw. The Eagles game is the first game that he was truly TerriBAD. And that sh*t had better stop or he's going to be a Backup QB for another team real soon.
  3. Yeah. I mean...I was so fug'n pissed at Sam for continuously (and stubbornly) throwing to his first read on an OUT instead of looking for other receivers who were more often than not....WIDE OPEN in the middle of the field. Case in point, the final INT at the end of the game : He had IAN THOMAS wide open there and didn't even look his way. Instead, he tried to FORCE-FEED Robbie and threw the game-ending INT. It was the 2 minute warning and had he thrown to Ian Thomas, who looked like he had room to run and maybe get a first down(or 2nd down and very manageable), there would not have been an INT and who knows how the game ends up. Sam was doing so well early in the season by basically taking what the defense gave him. For some strange reason, he stopped doing that in this game and this falls on Rhule and Joe Brady for not getting into Sam's face and nipping this crap in the bud. I hope they did Postgame in the locker-room or in Rhule's office 'cause Panthers aren't winning ANY GAMES with Sam playing like a reckless Mofo. Hopefully with CMC back, things will settle down a bit and maybe Sam will start checking down AND MOVING THE STICKS. It's not as sexy as throwing the deep ball but the Panthers are in the business of trying to WIN GAMES, not Popularity contests or pleasing the fans who like the long-ball. This is what I'm hoping for, too. Plus, Rhule and Brady have GOT TO get in Sam's face in the Locker room or Rhule's office to tell him to stop force-feeding Robbie Anderson and FOCUS ON GETTING FIRST DOWNS (ala Ian Thomas wide open on that Game-Ending INT) and moving the chains(thus getting closer to the endzone). Yes, we got Sam for being willing to throw the deep ball(and he has thrown many 20+ yard passes with success while the longer-bombs are still a work in progress) but checking down and letting the Receiver get YAC (and most likely another first down) is more important.
  4. ^^^ I'm willing to try anything right now.
  5. How are the concession stands there? Or rather...is the food/beer there worth the trouble?
  6. This is one that is inexcusable to me. Whatever happened to "Take what the Defense gives you", Sam?
  7. I was very encouraged with Chuba. One of the few bright spots during that gongshow of a game.
  8. Your dumb opening sentence regarding the playoff chances sent bad vibes.
  9. All I want to find out by the end of the season is whether Sam has any future with this team or not. At this point, it's looking kind of Iffy, to say the least.
  10. Well CMC is now going to be back so that can only help Sam "Not Suck" next weekend. But man...As CMC goes, so goes this team.
  11. I think this is a game where you hope that Sam at least does not suck like he did against Philly. As far as winning the game against the Vikes? The Defense will have to come and really clamp down for the Panthers to have a shot.
  12. Sam has 5 Rushing TDs. He's mobile enough. His problem is removing his head out of his ass and making better decisions at throwing the football.
  13. He needs to play like he knows how to be an NFL QB. What I saw was as if one of US put on his Jersey, and went out there in his place. Also, Talk is cheap. Sam puts the loss on him(and he should) but he needs to now go out there Next Sunday against the Vikings and put on a NOT-SUCKY performance (and help the team win the game) to begin to remove the stench of this game from our memories. It's a MUST-WIN for him, imo. 'Cause if he doesn't play well, what else is going to say in the next Presser? More of the same sh-t?
  14. On one of the picks, he had the entire middle of the field open(he had a WR there waiting for a catch and YAC) and went with the tougher choice. It's like his first read is the only read and goddammit, he's going to throw it there by hell or highwater. smh. Somebody should remind Sam that it's okay to throw to OTHERS. This was a case of Sam not taking what the opposing Defense gave him. The Complete opposite of what was expected of him.
  15. My "boy" needs to start acting (and playing) like he knows how to be an NFL QB. What I saw looked like some bum off the street put on Sam's #14 Jersey and just threw it around the place as if he was rehearsing for a Play. All I want from Sam next Sunday is this :
  16. Well if he's available, let's give up....*looks at notes*.....3 1st rounders for him.
  17. Normally I would jump to his defense but... Not this time. He's earned every bit of Ire here.
  18. Sam has to at least not suck next Sunday and the following Sunday for me to step off the ledge (slightly). Yes it was only one game but with how poorly he played, it may just as well counted for TWO games.
  19. I'd rather be bored to death than being "cringe'd" to death.
  20. So what are you going to do every Sunday now since you're not watching?
