How many picks did Sam throw in this game? 'Cause I'm reading the stats and it said ONE but if I didn't watch the game and just read the forum here, it sounded like he threw SIX INTs or something. I mean...Sam was inaccurate with sailing balls over WR's heads per usual. But aside from that one pick, that's all it was. Just ONE.

is darnold worse than teddy was?
glenwo2 replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah. Plus, it only led to 3 pts. Sam and the Panthers responded with a TD drive to make it 7-3. So Shotgun's b*tching meant nothing in the grand scheme of things. In fact, this is a ton of b*tching for just 1 INT that Sam threw ALL GAME. That's something that's lost here. He was not accurate but many are acting like he threw 6 Picks. Now all the WR dropsies.....THAT is something to complain about. -
Does anyone have any faith we beat the Giants?

Nothing is for sure after the Eagles debacle. NOTHING. I'm just going to cross my fingers and hope for the best. -
We gave up 571 yards to the Minnesota Vikings

You've chosen to ignore content by Glenwothe3rd. ^^^^ They say imitation is the most sincere form of flattery but I'm not flattered by an utter PJ-obsession-driven nincompoop who purposely creates a username to mock me. -
Glad you were able to take an insult by a moron stating that Sam was "lucky" and turn it into a thought-provoking post. Can't give reactions anymore today so I'll just post them : Damn that's huge. LOL!

@Khyber53, just so you know....the person you gave a pie to is another burner account for CPsinceday1

I can believe that. Sam was like "*I'm* the QB here. If *I* see someone open, no matter who it is, I'm throwing it". I seriously doubt 95% of the plays during that drive were Brady-Designed plays. (oh btw, did you know that CRA is now making excuses for Brady? Saying that it's not Brady's fault he was given slop? WTF is wrong with some people?)

198 Rushing Yards 370+ Passing Yards You can kick and scream all you like but as the old saying goes : The Numbers Do Not Lie. Yes, the offense should have been better but here's the issue : This Defense was supposed to be a World-Beater after 3 games... ...and they had long since been exposed ever since the Dallas game. Sorry, man, but that's the way it is. -
Totally different game if all our receivers caught a few passes. My lord.... smh.
-
And who knew that the one person who came up BIG during that drive.... ...the one person who made the BIG CATCH....was IAN FREAKIN' THOMAS!!! Recall the picture I put up of last week where in the Game-ending INT, Sam had IAN wide open but he didn't bother to look his direction....many here were sh*tting on me saying that IAN would've dropped the pass. Now here we are and it's just so damn funny. lol

The 5-10 yard rockets...I can't help but think he's talking about Chuba which is hilarious because Chuba is now in the NFL. He should've been learning how to catch those rockets. This ain't College anymore, son. If he's expecting the lame ducks thrown to him on his college team, he better think again.

lolwut? Wait....so CRA is giving Brady a Pass? WTF? And who are these "People" who keep saying this, Pootie? 'Cause this is the first time I've seen anyone from this board actually start making excuses for Brady.
-
He's definitely on pace but I don't think it's likely. Why do I say that? Because normally Predictions from fans on a messageboard more often than not don't pan out. And I hope it doesn't pan out.....I have to wonder how things would be if the Receivers in this game did not have the case of Butterfingers?
-
Holy balls, is he ever.
-
Remember, though... They wanted Watson, all that BS occurred. They wanted Stafford, he WISELY went elsewhere They did not want to risk losing out on any QB as it wasn't guaranteed that Fields would drop.. ...so they chose Sam. It is what it is.

This has to be said: Cam Newton is vaccinated and available

But we do have CMC on a..... ....OH. -
That's very true. So many mistakes and not all of them fall on Sam's lap. Someone else said (I don't know if it was you or someone else) that it was a Complete Team Loss and that is so damn true. From the players all the way to the Coaching staff. That Sam had managed to get the game to OT was fun to see but it shouldn't have come to that had he played well earlier and the WR's played well, too. Oh and the -EFENSE did not play well (I took away their "D" because they have none).
-
We're not shouting that Sam is good. We're pointing out that Sam had a clutch drive which he never demonstrated before. That doesn't excuse his poor play but it's just something else to talk about that's actually the only Positive in a virtual sea of Negative. and his WR's did nothing to help him all game until the final drive, too.
-
You think maybe Sam was like "F*CK THE SYSTEM." and went Ham? Imagine what this board would be like if the Defense could've stopped a nosebleed in OT and Sam brought us back then and won it? There will still be b*tching but not as much since we'd be 4-2. As it is, this drive....while amazing....is unfortunately going to be viewed as nothing more than a blip on the radar. Remember that to many here....Winning isn't everything. It's the ONLY thing. (If only the Panthers won the coin-toss in OT.....)
-
true dat. Everybody sucked donkey dick that game. It was amazing that they even had a shot at still coming back and winning after all that garbage (if only the "D" could stop a nosebleed that game)

The fact that you believe that's what I was saying is hilarious. I said Sam can run. And it's not like he hasn't run before, for a TD. He did it with the freakin' Jets, too. Oh but I offended fans of the "Greatest QB in Carolina History" so..... ...maybe I should've provided a disclaimer like this : Oh but Sam cannot run as good as the GOD OF ALL QB's Cam Newton! Maybe I would've been clearer to you then. -

glenwo2 replied to hepcat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Sam can run, too, you know? As his 5 Rushing TDs can attest to. But apparently he's following the "advice" of Brady to "play within the system". There was plenty of moments in that game where he had room to run for good yardage and chose to stay where he was at. And Cam would not have won this game by being here. He would not have made DJ not fumble nor Robbie not NOT catch the ball either. He would not have made the Defense NOT give up over 570+ total yards of Offense to the Vikings either. You want Cam back because you love the guy. That's fine but just know that it wouldn't have changed the outcome of this game. -
It's almost like CPsinceday1 hacked Zod's account.
