  1. Really? That's not what his stats say : He had rushed 5 times for -2 yds in 2020; had zero TDs. (Sam has the edge here by far with 110 yards rushing and 5 TDs) He had played 4 games in 2020; passed for 1 TD and got picked 5 times (Sam has been bad but he still holds the edge here aside from the picks) https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/W/WalkPh00.htm https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/D/DarnSa00.htm
  2. The only person who looks stupid is the one who continuously creates new accounts...Mr. CPsinceDay1.
  3. I think they WANT IT to be Anderson yelling at Sam because they want to yell at Sam, too, so they're using Robbie as a go-between.
  4. How do you know that will happen? Can you provide the PowerBall Jackpot numbers, too? I'm not holding my breath on Watson being here. Or did you forget Houston's asking price for Watson? It wasn't just ONE 1st rounder...it was THREE. If Fitt did that and gave up 3 first-rounders, without addressing the O-Line first, he should be canned. PERIOD. Doubt it unless you want Blake Bortles as the new QB. ('cause Cam's not coming back..Let's be serious here) And again....as I said above : 3 1st rounders......Fitt is NOT going to do it and I will be shocked if he did.
  5. THIS. Easy to stat-pad when your QB is tossing you 2-5 yarders (and you getting YACs) every game. It creates the illusion with the 1000 yards that is fools gold.
  6. I'm curious as to what your response to this question is? The real question is how many of those 31 was at a point when Sam was having to try and not get killed by a defender or was already getting tackled thanks to our Award Winningly bad OLine (primarily the interior) thus there not being an actual chance to get the ball to the open man. - @ichigo1057
  7. Robby was a no-name Nobody on the Jets. He played better with Teddy because he wasn't used as a Deep threat 'cause Teddy couldn't throw it deep to save his life. Easy to catch 2 to 5-yarders and stat-pad your way to a nice contract extension(that is undeserved).
  8. Rhule is going to live or die with Sam at QB....no guarantee he won't be bald by the end of the season after pulling all his hair out, though....
  9. I think Rhule should strangle himself to death first because he failed to upgrade the O-Line before going after a QB. backup on our team? Nah. He's destined to be a backup on another team if he does not turn it around soon. BTW, check out this pathetic loser who should never be allowed to don Panthers/Huddle colors again : https://forums.jetnation.com/topic/162404-sadly-i-admit-to-feeling-reliefvalidation-in-light-of-darnolds-struggles/page/5/?tab=comments#comment-5121682
  10. Did you take a look at the person's Name? Tell me you didn't get a chuckle at that irony.
  11. Well I mean...he did hit Ian Thomas for 40+ on that final drive if we're going to be accurate...... But your point is for the most part, accurate.
  12. NextGen Stats has the benefit of watching from the Overhead like we're playing a videogame instead of playing from Sam's perspective where he has a 300 pound behemoth coming at him like a freight train.
  13. The more I think about it now.....the more I believe Sam will get one final shot next season and if he does not make a dramatic jump in improvement, they'll just not re-sign him. In the meantime, this sh*t needs to be turned around in a hurry. The Giants could(*COULD*) be the perfect Tonic for that but as the team proved, so could the Panthers for other teams. Somethings gotta give.
  14. Baloney. Robbie signed his extension *AFTER* Sam was acquired. If he didn't want to be on the same team as him, he would've went elsewhere. And quite frankly, I wish he did go elsewhere.
  15. 'Who was the guy that was open? I can't see the number. And also, this is why Chuba not being able to catch the ball on a dump-off is so detrimental right now. He could've been the outlet for Sam to toss to and get some good yardage out of it without tossing any hospital ball.
  16. yeah. Sam might as well just start RUNNING for the 1st down the moment he gets the ball from Center then. lol.
  17. You know...I went back and watched the one "Hospital Ball" that led to Vilma making his "Business Decision" comment on DJ. And I can't help but notice that DJ was concentrating more on trying to catch the ball than thinking about the defender rushing up at him. Here, take a look : It seemed like to me that it wasn't until AFTER he dropped it did he see the defender coming at him. So I think it was more a case of him just dropping the pass than this so-called "Business Decision".
  18. Well you could say that Dunn's post was ALMOST...a good post.
  19. I saw the vid you provided on Malik. He looks promising and would have zero issue if they drafted him. But hearing the terms "He's a magician" and "he's houdini" makes it sound like the perfect choice for a coaching staff that will NEVER fix the O-Line. I hope they do, though, as I don't want ANY young QB getting pummeled every sunday.
  20. For one, DJ Moore is getting more of the shorter routes, which may explain why he’s getting 29% of the targets compared to 17% for Anderson. Last season, Anderson got 27% compared to 22% for Moore. https://www.espn.com/blog/carolina-panthers/post/_/id/35556/carolina-panthers-wr-robby-anderson-and-qb-sam-darnold-still-searching-for-chemistry-they-had-with-ny-jets You should put more blame on Brady for changing what was working.
  21. Curious as to how many here believe he will and how many here think he won't. I think he might but it's also too early to tell. If he plays like sh-t against the Giants next Sunday, though..... (I also am attempting to create my first poll here so hopefully I did it right but if not, f*ck it)
