Maybe they'll start doing it from the beginning and this next game is the perfect opportunity to experiment with that against a hapless Giants team. If they do that and Sam excels, maybe they may have found the key to Sam's complicated "lock", so to speak. But if Sam still struggles, then they'll definitely know once and for all that there is no fixing him.

BTW, just another thought : Sam needs to get his legs moving more. What I mean by that is I am sick of seeing a gaping hole clear up right in front of him and he refuses to run through it. The defense was giving him a free 10-15 yards before anyone could realistically touch him and he sat in the pocket and threw an incompletion. That was mind-boggling to watch as most struggling QBs run at first sight. Only later did he realize : “wait what are these things attached to my hips? I found out that if I put one in front of the other at a high speed I can actually move away from the bad men trying to hurt me”.

I really don't understand it. Don't they practice the Deep Ball AT ALL?? It's almost like they only practice the Short and Intermediate routes (and it's evident in the games we see).

You're right, it isn't. I really hope that in the next game, there won't be BUTTERFINGERS again. We have enough issues at QB to begin with without any of his good passes that he makes....end up not being completed because of drops. I think if he had even half those drops be catches, I believe the Panthers pull out the win (oh and did I mention how much of a killer, in hindsight, it was when DJ fumbled the ball right after Minny scored?)

How loud was the crowd when Sam led the team on that 96-yard TD Drive and 2pt conversion? I think Sam redeemed himself from that ridiculous double-timeout garbage at that point in the crowd's eyes.

The two timeouts thing was something I never saw before even when he was with the Jets. Then again, isn't it the Coach's job to notice when a player isn't in his proper position on the field and then call a timeout? Maybe Sam was trying to do Rhule's job for him or something? Anyway, that first INT did take the air out of the place....but don't forget it inflated back up after the "D" came up with a huge strip-sack-fumble to get the ball back which led to the Chuba TD. So the Crowd was back at that point. And then the drops began..... sigh... BTW, that fumble by DJ really REALLY hurt and it ultimately (in hindsight) turned out to be a costly one as it gave the Vikings back-to-back TDs basically.

Apparently not, according to her. Remember....Tina doesn't "do" stats. BTW, as I was just glancing at Sam's rushing stats, I didn't even realize he had over 200 Rushing Yards last season in 12 games. For a QB that's supposedly "less athletic than PJ f'n Walker"(PFFFT!), that's not too shabby. Maybe Brady would be better off having Sam run more QB draws along with Chuba running the ball or something...

If we lose this game, we might as well start PJ and go full Tank because Sam has a nasty habit of deciding to win games late in the season to mess up Draft position (just ask the Jets ala Trevor Lawrence Sweepstakes). Of course, we would get a top pick in a WEAK-AS-FK QB Class so go for the Best O-Lineman there!!
