Another issue is giving up 3...not 1...not 2....but THREE 1st- rounders to Houston where those draft picks could be used for more O-Line help or something...and I just cannot see Fitterer pull the trigger unless someone forces his hand.

The dreaded "Vote of Confidence". This Sunday's game against the Giants is basically Endgame for Sam. He better play well and win. That's all I'll say. But I still don't buy that we're acquiring Watson. I just can't see Tepper wanting that type of DISTRACTION as a part of the franchise. Also, I just can't see Fitterer giving up 3 first-rounders. I keep saying that and people just choose to ignore it like I never said it. Fitterer is very unlikely to give up 3 first-rounders to get someone who will more than likely not be available for a couple of seasons(and when he's available, will cast a dark cloud whenever he's on the field).

Me, too. I said it when Sam was traded here that he had zero excuses, if you recall. Well now we've reached that tipping point : Either Put up....or Shut Up and Get the F*ck out. This Sunday is going to be the most important game of Sam's career.

Pretty much. Why on earth would ANY GM give up 3 First-rounders for a QB (as talented as he is) with such immense baggage that would affect at least the next couple of seasons? And that's not to mention the PR nightmare that would ensue from acquiring said QB.

So who starts at QB if Sam is the backup? I keep hearing how Sam would be a decent backup and all but no solutions as far as who QB1 would be. And don't say Watson because I do not see Fitt giving up THREE 1st-rounders for him (which is what Houston STILL demands).
