    Why the f*ck are you excited? or rather why would ANYONE be excited? Maybe if Watson didn't have these legal issues, there would be reason for this but he DOES have legal issues and won't be on the field for perhaps 1-2 seasons (maybe more if he ends up serving Jail-time)...

    Agreed. @LinvilleGorge, I think, mentioned about Sam being a Wet Nurse for a Young QB...well I would sue the hospital for malpractice if they had him be the Nurse for a Young Drafted QB. Teddy would've been ideal as it turns out.

    I think Darnold is the worst Backup QB in the league, too. Even if he ends up backing up for another team......oh who am i kidding? What lamebrain GM out there would trade for Sam to even be their waterboy at this point?

    Never saw a QB be so bad when he had protection. That proves to me that his time with the Jets definitely broke him. It turned him into some kind of Pavlov's Dog where the Constant Pressure he got with NY was so normal, he ended up not being able to function without someone in his face or chasing him.

    I get what you're saying but with Fields, we would've had a restarted Rookie Contract Clock to FIX the damn O-Line and teach him from the ground up how to be an NFL QB without all the bad habits learned from another NFL team.

    Sign me up for Hedge funds then. I was a Sam Darnold fan so I check the box off of the "below average intelligence" part. (though I did get smarter in the end...hope that doesn't disqualify me. LOL)

    yeah but we recouped the 4th and 6th so it was only a 2nd rounder. A 2nd rounder that is going to be sky-high...but it's the Jets so they'll screw it up per usual so...no big loss there.

    Well I'm not a Canes fan (I'm a Devils fan) but it's good to know we both have teams that can WIN games. I don't think I can stomach watching another Panthers game the rest of this season.
