Rams Offering Two (Future) Firsts for Burns

Who are the upcoming QB's in the next draft? Shroud and who else? -
Rams Offering Two (Future) Firsts for Burns
glenwo2 replied to OnlyPantherFaninMaine's topic in Carolina Panthers
And that's something the Burns Fan brigade isn't considering. These two draft picks have the possibility (a real one) of turning into Top 10 BOTH SEASONS. To pass on that in favor of someone who is not that much of an impact player on Defense (he's good but not elite), would be a complete and total fail on Fitt's part. And I truly hope there is no stupid handshake deal by Fitts to re-sign him 'cause that would be an idiotic move on his part as it would handcuff him. -

Wanna know something scarier than Halloween? Believing that Brian Burns is Lawrence Taylor. Get the deal done, Fitz. Don't mess around here. The Rams are asking....no...BEGGING to be fleeced here. Might as well oblige them. -
Rams Offering Two (Future) Firsts for Burns

Or we don't waste two firsts and instead draft a QB one of those seasons. You know... A QB that has been in a position of absolute NEED for a long time. So unless Burns can also play QB (and he should, for the amount of money he's asking for), I'm going to say "Good Luck in LA" and collect my 2 1st-rounder winnings. Actually there is because there are other teams in the NFL that could offer a deal that the Rams would accept, thereby the Panthers losing out on a once-in-a-blue-moon deal. -

Fitt would pass on 2 1st rounders to hold onto a "young core" that hasn't done jacksh-t? Come on, Fitt. Use some common sense. The Rams are not going to be "all that" by the time 2024 and 2025 rolls around which would make those 2 1st rounders VERY valuable. Plus, let's not forget we will have our OWN 1st rounder as well. This is a tremendous opportunity here that I would be hard-pressed to pass on if I was Fitt. -

Multiple 1st round picks? From a team that is not guaranteed to go to the heights it did when it went on its SuperBowl run with a QB that is hot-and-cold? I'll take that deal and run away with it. -
So much for the Rams putting them away. Rams got stomped.

Are We Really Not Going To Talk About This?!
glenwo2 replied to Castavar's topic in Carolina Panthers
Just stop. And think about what you just typed. Eddy missed his *2ND* kick. And not just any kick.....his *2nd* Game-winning kick. Had a shot in Regulation for the Extra point......Missed it (albeit due to the refs calling an awful penalty on DJ) Had a shot in MUCH CLOSER range in OT after a big-time Interception return? STILL missed it. You can't expect the team to win if your Kicker doesn't get it done when it matters... ...and he got a glorified do-over in OT after his first miss in regulation to right that wrong...but he still failed. -
DJ Moore should not have been penalized for helmet removal

Piniero had another shot at much closer range in OT....and he still missed. THAT ended up costing the game. -

Brutal call by the refs. Just Brutal. However...Piniero got another chance at CLOSER range...and he still missed it. -
Nostradamus is your new name. lol

I think Jimmy Garapolo having CMC to just toss the ball to would make him look better than he normally looks. If CMC could make Sam Darnold look like a competent QB, he would make an actual competent one in Jimmy even more competent. CMC does things that San Fran's rb's aren't capable of doing. And it totally sucks that some other team will now benefit from his talents.
-
This team right now needs a massive overhaul from THE TOP all the way to the bottom. Saying crap like "ooooh he's our enemy." as if this team is capable of doing anything about it considering they are their OWN worst enemy for the past bunch of years under Tepper's ownership, and a moron for HC, is absolutely asinine. Good f'n grief...
-
HOW ABOUT YOU SHUT THE HELL UP AND GET OFF YOUR SOAPBOX, EH? (and maybe post a bit more often around here since you're such a "big Panthers fan") CMC gave his heart and soul to this franchise and what did he have to show for it? Plenty of personal Stats (and a big contract) but no real success. So him going somewhere where his talent will be actually beneficial to the team (and would result in actual victories) is something people should be grateful for on a personal level. So kiss my ass with the whole "he's our enemy" BS.
-
Well you could also hope he plays well but the Niners still lose so....
-
Dude...every team with a PULSE is the enemy and has been the enemy for years. Even our own team is the enemy 'cause we suck.
-
I'm glad for CMC as he leaves this sh*tty situation and goes somewhere where he has a chance to win a superbowl. Sucks we had to do this but with incompetence at both Ownership, Management, and Coaching being a constant, there was no actual future for CMC as far as future success goes.

What I'd like to see for the rest of the year
glenwo2 replied to Peon Awesome's topic in Carolina Panthers
Agreed. But you have to admit that if we want the #1 pick, maybe throwing this dunce out there wouldn't be the worst idea as far as that goes. lol -
I said I'd believe Tepper would fire Rhule when I saw it as I thought Tepper would be a stubborn mule about it. Looks like even a stubborn mule has its limits. Thank Christ!

Just waltzed into the forum this morning (it's 8:32 am EST) and saw this thread and I was like :

Graziano: "Lots of buzz" Panthers could fire Rhule
glenwo2 replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
From their lips to Delhomme's ears.... I'll believe Rhule gets canned when it happens. Tepper has proven to be just as stubborn a mule as...well...a MULE.
