  1. Water is Wet. But at the same time, he's not a lumbering Statue like Old Man Vinny Testaverde(remember him? ) was either. He's fast enough to make some good runs with his feet. Just not to do it every down.
  2. This post is just as weird as CP's.
  3. A post by an obsessive fan who has nothing better to do with his time except stare longingly at a PJ Walker poster?
  4. Santoso may not be the answer but he has yet to prove he's the consistent problem like Slye was.
  5. This is where Sam's "athleticism" (aka ability to scramble/run) will be very useful. lol.
  6. I refuse to believe he's 90...even though he looks like he's collecting dust.
  7. That wasn't a "suspect line" in NY. That was "no line" at all. I don't think any QB could overcome THAT.
  8. ^^^ Stop. You could just as easily put Biden there, too but let's keep Politics and the morons involved out of a Football Conversation, shall we?
  9. Can they use a 2-tight-end set(or whatever that's called) to help with the pass-blocking?
  10. Think about what you just said : Sammy's below the waist technique was worse in year 3 than it was in year one. What was the difference from year one to year 3? Adam Gase came in Year 2 and then 3 and thoroughly f*cked him up.
  11. But that's just it, though. The thread-starter put that up and how the hell were we supposed to react to that other than think it was a one-sided thing? After all, it came from a NY JETS fan website so pardon us for assuming it was just pure homerism on display. Glad it's not and they had another article made but that's not what this thread was initially about.
  12. That's fair. They seem to think that Becton and that other guy they have will stop our DL or something. OH! So he did do the flip side. I was not aware of that as the only article put up was for one side. *ahem* *ahem* Plenty of advantages on Carolina's end, for sure. Yeah well it didn't help that when this thread was created, the only article linked was an article listing the advantages from ONLY the Jets perspective. Don't blame us for reacting accordingly to that. I have doubts this will happen.
  13. Similar in Quality but it's not the same gong-show. It's still a step up from the Jets crap last season.
  14. I guess when @bigdavis brought up the "Happy feet" comment by Smitty, I basically involved that into the discussion. Sorry, bigdavis but your comment apparently has no relevance here, per top dawg. Have a nice day.
  15. Interesting to note : No WR advantage No mention of CMC Not even a Zach Wilson fluff piece having him have the edge over Sam. Just 'cause the OL players have struggled doesn't mean they're going to struggle against the Jets....AT HOME...in front of the home fans....on GAME ONE where they're amped up and ready. Like Chris Berman once said : "That's why they play the games."
  16. It has relevance as far as pointing out that I trust the opinion of an actual QB Coach over an amazing WR like Smitty. Nevermind that he was correct but I always wait for the Coaches to say something to confirm Sam's issue instead of depending on Non-Coaches viewpoints.
  17. Amen, dude. Stick to what you know best, is the thing here. Well Sean Ryan's opinion holds more weight 'cause he knows what the hell he's talking about. He's the QB COACH after all. (something Sam never had with the Jets) Smitty is just being Smitty. Love the guy and his commentary but critiquing a QB's footwork(even though it is true to a degree) is like "sure man, whatever you say" from me coupled with an eyeroll.
  18. That's absolutely irritating to see Panthers fans agree with the opponent's fans. I'm like "then go f'n root for their team then". I'd rather play whomever is in front of me, full strength or not. Can't make an impact if he sees Jaycee running away from him (with the ball in his hand).
