I was listening to Gill Alexander and Chrissy Andrews on VSiN earlier. They didn’t think very highly of the way this was handled. Their issues were A) why not do it a week ago to let the new OC/players prepare and game plan and B) why wait until a lot of big college jobs are filled before you fired him. They suggested that it was a mean spirited firing for the way the Panthers handled this. Not that Gil and Chrissy are NFL insiders, but that is the perception from national media members.

I was a fan of the Rhule hire. I even defended him a few weeks ago, but no more. It’s becoming obvious he’s in way over his head. I bought into “he can build a program” label, but he’s sinking this franchise for the near future. He and his entire staff needs to go back to college where they belong.

One game? Also, 7 of those 9 losses were one score loses. We were competitive which is much more than you can say about this sorry team.

We were competitive last year. This year we’re getting blown out by bottom tier teams. Never thought I’d miss Bridgewater, but here we are.

I haven’t completely given up on the season, but the Washington game sucked the life out of me. That was a demoralizing defeat given all of the circumstances.

I listened to all of his press conferences in the preseason just because I was so excited to for football season. Once the season starts, just show me. Unfortunately, what he’s showing us is not good enough.

Yesterday was my first “Rhule might be in over his head” moment. I know many people have been saying it for a while, I was just holding out hope they were all wrong. Unfortunately, I don’t think they are. Yesterday was a complete embarrassment and the last 4 minutes of the game was amateur hour.

I’m not saying we’ll make it, but declaring the season over when you’re one game out of the wild card is a loser mentality.

One game out of the wild card with tiebreakers over two teams that are in. This place is pathetic.

If you didn’t think they would “find” another injury after taking another look, you’re not as smart as you think you are. You could see this coming when the boo birds came out on Sunday. Darnold is done.

This place is full of over emotional soy boys who think they have all the answers. Some of the dumbest Panthers takes you’ll ever see are right here on this board.

I don’t watch our games and say “man, this team would be in much better shape if we didn’t trade a 3rd for CJ Henderson”.

I wish the media had the guts to ask Rhule about plays like this and why it’s tolerated. I’d rather watch someone play with effort and just suck rather than watch that kind of garbage effort.

What’s your angle here? This board is only for snarky comments about how much all things Panthers suck!! Take your rationale, positive post somewhere else!!

Cam hasn’t been good in 3-4 years. What the hell is wrong with some of you people?

I swear, this place is filled with the most miserable people I’ve ever seen. Rhule has been successful everywhere he’s ever been. He will be successful here too unless you crazies get your way.

Imagine having to watch the Gamecocks on Saturday and the Panthers on Sunday. It’s been a brutal football season……again!! If not for betting and fantasy football, I’m not sure I would even watch the NFL anymore. It’s an incredibly boring product.

I think we get back on track this week. 23-20 victory. We win 4 of the next 5 before the bye and we’re right back in the playoffs mix. Call me crazy, but I still have faith in the coaching staff.

We’ve scored zero 3rd quarter points in 5 of the 7 games so far this year. That is very telling.

Since the beginning of last year, we average less than 3 points in the 3rd quarter. This year, we’ve been outscored 55-14 in the 3rd quarter. Good coaches make adjustments. Ours don’t.
