Him missing that much time is a very interesting dynamic. I doubt they would’ve been a playoff team but it does pretty much eliminate them from the wild card unless they pull a Saints of last year and rattle off a bunch of wins with their back up.

A little late to the party but fug it let me try my hand at corny comedy.

He was in Hawkers ordering a Boulevardier. He told me he likes to order drinks most southerners mispronounce. We talked about him tabling the supposed Huddle app for the foreseeable future, his least favorite moderators on the board (I tried to persuade him to tell me it was Linville Gorge but alas he was tight lipped) and how Chuck is actually his cousin with Asperger’s. I told him he looked like the NFL camera guy that jumped into the frame after Greg Olsen’s TD to beat Seattle in 2015, but a little goofier. We had a laugh about the new Dave Chappelle Netflix special calling out NC and their laws about same sex bathrooms. He is more inclined to use the women’s since they are cleaner to poop in I agreed that I would consider next time I had to piss out of my ass in public. I tried to take a picture with him but he didn’t want anyone to know he was getting hammered at 11am. All in all good guy but he should really consider cutting down on the ads on the site and the aftershave cologne.

I mean he did just get traded a few months ago, have to learn a new offense, shake off the ghosts and still deal with this JAG filled OL. For all he’s been through I give him a 8/10 or a B so far this year. His 2 interceptions today were for multiple reasons. The one to Anderson was bad because he panicked and threw behind him. The route DJ ran was kind of flat on the other and obvious in the situation since the throw was high Diggs was able to jump it fairly easily. Like someone said in the game day thread, a slant there would’ve been better because it hadn’t been run in a short yardage situation yet in the game. Either way he redeemed himself scoring 2 times to end the game and almost getting a chance to get another if not for that damned genius play call on 3rd and short.

They realized at half time we weren’t showing any type of gap disciple. They adjusted and we didn’t. I do not know what Phil thought would happen but. They kept pulling linemen into the blitz and our guys weren’t strong or big enough to handle all those big bodies inside. That needs to be adjusted ASAP. We need a few looks with more big bodies in the middle. Guys holding the edge and LBs not so eager to get through the line of scrimmage after the snap. Pollard and Zeke hesitated before each run because they knew we’d come fast and once the bodies got stuck between the hog mollies they just squeezed through without being touched.
