  1. I know I’m new and nobody is paying attention to me but I have been calling a few of these names out. I thought we’d go LS out of Clemson but since he opted out I guess we wanted winning pedigree. For those complaining do y’all not understand how important a good long snapper is. How many times do you think we will punt this year. Do you want some dipshit out there thrown bs to Charlton and get his punt blocked or do you want him to keep booming those dimes??
  2. Sadarius Hutcherson would be splendid.
  3. Love this pick. Should be a kick returner from the get. He has the potential to be a nice slot receiver if coached up. Quick can sometimes be better than fast.
  4. Having a Seattle guy makes me happy to finally see us taking chances on guys that dropped because of concerns. Late rounds you rarely find gems unless you take a chance. Under Richardson no matter the GM or coach we would draft high character guys late with no athleticism that just worked hard. None are still in the league except AJ Klein. The only recent off field concern players we ever got only 2 showed up for us and Hardy was the reason why that regime never took a chance again. Thank god we have a new brain trust to say fug it make a man out of them again.
  5. I know fans wanted “their” guy at this pick at that pick but a lot of y’all have only seen YouTube videos on these people. Rhule has coached, recruited, played against and interviewed most of the picks he made, could’ve made or would’ve made but didn’t. He knows what he wants. He will coach them up. If he can’t then that’s on them, but he will try his hardest to make them winning football players and that’s what matters.
  6. This was my guy all along never though he’d make it past the early 5th at the latest. He is an immovable human being on line. Fitterer might be having the best draft we’ve ever seen as Panthers fans.
  7. Hopefully after the draft we get one of the top long snapper prospects. Cheeserman out of Michigan looks to be the real deal.
  8. Fitterer obviously thinks highly of the concept of Covid causing a lot of evaluations being improperly done. Which makes sense. A lot of guys that could’ve played but didn’t, a lot of early injuries or opt outs after partial seasons. A lot of guys that could’ve come out and been drafted on day 1 or 2 last year didn’t have fortune go their way this year. The 3-5 are the meat and potatoes of teams. These guys don’t have to be superstars, but if they are solid contributors that saves a lot of cap space towards getting more prominent play makers.
  9. I knew we wanted a RB and Sermon was the best option but why not Carter or Gainwell. Guess they think one will be there tomorrow. Nico Collins is a nice pick up for them.
  10. Love this pick. Replaces Armah and gives us a wrinkle out of the back field we haven’t had since Tolbert.
  11. I had him as a possible second round pick. Especially if we traded down. Getting him early 3rd is great value. He’s a technician. If we come away with Deone Brown at the end of the 3rd or later id be very happy. Also Sadarius Hutchinson in the 6th also.
  12. Wanted Dyami but this pick is just as good. Better hands and runs better routes. Biggest plus is he knows Brady’s playbook.
  13. Lord you people cry too much. The talent in this draft is solid for positions of need. We will find our guys. The “sexy” picks almost never work out as imagined. Let’s get people who fit their mold and let them have a chance to succeed.
  14. Is my dream going to come true Dynami Brown???
  15. Walker Little, Brady Christensen, Teven Jenkins, Stone Foresythe or Dillon Radunz would be great in the second. Sad to say but my 2nd round draft crush is Dynami Brown. I feel he has the intangibles for the slot we need.
  16. What in the low country sc post is this poo lol
  17. Rounds 4-6 should be predominantly OL. The other ones should be BPA. With 3 6th round picks hopefully we find a diamond in the rough. Especially a player that dropped for concerns that weren’t character related.
  18. They waited until after because if Horn and Sewell was gone then Fields would’ve been the pick. There was no indecisiveness, it was meticulously done purposely. Sometimes the moves you make aren’t what matters in business it’s when you make them.
  19. Outside of the Epilepsy reports that could’ve scared off people. We invested a decent amount into Darnold. Building his confidence is the first step to finding out who he really is. Getting another QB doesn’t do that. I for one was glad we didn’t after seeing his reaction to being drafted and to how he nailed his Bears interview. He gives me Haskins vibes solely on his demeanor of investing in himself. He comes off more self driven than team driven. Accolades don’t win championships, there are many franchise QBs that will tell you the same. Not saying he won’t possibly be good but he wasn’t a fit for what the FO wanted and honestly I feel confident in the way they have been drafting. Defense will always win championships. You just need a smart decision maker behind center that can show arm talent when needed.
  20. Teven Jenkins, Dynami Brown or Pay Friermuth. Any offensive player will be welcome I just hope we go get a few line man and WR at the least. Late rounds sneak a solid rb/ kick return specialist like a Pooka Williams Jr.
  21. Sam Darnold had a higher grade than every QB in this draft except Lawrence. Not only has our FO said it but multiple draft “experts” have too. Darnold is 23 and came out of a bad situation. Even his existing FO has admitted to it. Hell they traded up to get a great OL prospect after the new QB and that speaks volumes. We didn’t go after Fields for numerous reasons. I for one am ok with that. Yes stepper wanted a Franchise QB to generate new interest but the football brain trust convinced him of better. Horn was always going to be the pick. Listen to the video of everyone talking to him in the phone, Rhule says “ I told you we were going to take you yesterday”. They knew how the draft would fall bad they were elated. This was clearly the guy and approved by all parties involved. So unless someone here is saying our owner, GM and coach are inept there was a reason this was 100% the guy if Sewel wasn’t there. Have confidence in the new regime. Even though Hurney was part of the draft last year. I can’t say I’m mad at Rhules choices last year. Brown looks to be the real deal, Chinn is better than Simmons that everyone wanted, YGM looks to be a good contributor, Pride has been solid and Roy has outperformed his draft position to name a few. Look guy patience is the key. We haven’t been in the league as long as 95% of the teams and we have had decent success. We haven’t given the new owner or GM a chance to put their stamp on things. TB was a Hurney signing trying to help Brady out in his first NFL stint, it didn’t work out and wasn’t Rhule or Fitterers guy, Darnold clearly is based on what they said about scouting him. Brett Farve was a gun slinger and looked pretty bad in Atlanta, he gets to GB and we all know the rest of the story. Give the ginger a chance we all might be pleasantly surprised. If not do whatever it take to get Sam Howell, Kedon Slovis or potentially Spencer Rattler if his turnover issues get even better this coming year.
