Last nights game looked like the equivalent of a NBA game. High scoring, spread wide open avoiding the run (equivalent to scoring in the paint) in favor of the medium to deep pass (jump shots and 3’s). This is what has ruined the NBA and now in the NFL has brought in more high scoring offenses and made defending the pass a little harder. It’s not what we are used to but it’s evolution and you can’t avoid it, unfortunately. I don’t care for the NBA at all anymore but football could never fall into the same trap of having to appeal to a specific audience. Things will even itself out over time, it was just the first game. The Bucs won last year because they are and balanced as much as I hate to say it. They can pass with the best, run with the best and defend both pretty well.

This is good. I hope that the organization sees things like this. We haven’t had the most consistency over the years but when we are good we have been a force. Just have to learn to keep winning consistently in multiple faucets of the game.

The season could go many ways. We improved every where, no matter how marginal. I can’t see us close to the same record as last year. Darnold can get us over the hump Teddy couldn’t. 8 games we basically lost ourselves was wholly on Teddy and the lack of experience of the staff. This year will be different I say we get no less than 8 wins.

We have Tremble who will play H Back. Armagh isn’t needed. A team that uses one like a Baltimore SF but they have solid starters so it would only be a luxury to have 2.

Bring him home. fug the bullshit. He can bring some of that energy to the locker room and help us get to the playoffs.

I don’t buy jersey’s anymore. If there was a Mitchell and Ness throwback of Smitty or Peppers I’d consider but they only have Mills and Greene. No slight to either but idk I’m a little less inclined to buy one of theirs. Edit: found a Smitty! Might have to purchase.

With a clean pocket he is a top 15 QB in this league. Without one he takes a lot of chances, most of which aren’t the greatest. Being a gunslinger you live on the edge. He reminds me of a young Brett Farve, decision making wise. His arm isn’t as strong but its no slouch either.

Slater has looked good against who though? Horn on the other hand has gone against a decent WR core in practice. Outside of Bosa who I doubt he has matched up against. Slater may be good but not enough to let Horn be passed over. LT is important don’t get me wrong but unless I’m mistaken this is a passing league and we went years struggling against the pass, terribly.
