  1. My Poo rank

    5. Sam Darnold...Int and fumble but made it up with game TD/2pt game tying 97 yrd drive...almost Elway like.

    4. Defense.  580 yards and swiss cheese in late game/OT...wtf!

    2B. OLINE...sorry they just suck...

2A. Wr....I saw ghosts of Roberto "stone hands" Duran out there

    1. Joe Brady...Vilma and everyone else probably thought and screamed to go no huddle...he didn't  do that until the end.  His play calling was all poo, all day nobody got open all day and he got outclasses by the viking d coordinator.

Most of us expected days like this during his development. So, let's not panic toooo much and see how he responds moving forward.

Oh yeah and let's try literally anyone else on the interior OL.

I agree.  And I also have seen Brady, Montana, Rogers,  Brees have bad games in a season, not saying Sam is that.  However, Sam was bad, so was the oline, special team and play calling at times...

Let see how we bounce back against the vikings

Colin is a front runner, so aside from Sams’ resurgence, he isn’t stupid.  He sees what is happening with the ownership, coaches and the promise of a young team on the rise.

The Panthers gave Colin the chance to say “I told you so” about his claims that it was the Jets, not Sam, lol.   He loves being right.

    Who doesn't  love being right?

He has had a full season. No more excuses. In his second season he should be able to scheme TD passes.

For his denfense,he didn't  have full season of CMC...or Darnold for 4 games...also TE room needs to get way better. All the good to great red zone teams have great TE, RB, WR combo.

  5. Hopefully, everyone from the coaches to the last man off the bench has learned through the loss.  This game wasn't lost on one perricular weakness, even though oline is pretty poo, field goal attempt, bad refs, time management, turnovers (int) ...etc.  The whole team was off but made it close at the end.  If we can clean up some of those issues and get healthy, Playoff run is possible.

Denver will be higher in the power rankings with no mention of their terrible opponents, we'll be around 10-13 with a mention on how "this is the easiest part of our schedule

Yes, the team confirmed after last game that he got hurt against us. I think whatever the injury is it is affecting him as he looked considerably better against us than the Pats and Broncos, and I don't think that's because they're better defenses than us. Aints offense was significantly better against the Pats D than they were against our D too.

First, the injury thing I don't  buy.  This is the NFL, and Jets are not gonna risk their franchise by playing their crown jewel injured.  Second, other teams have tape on Wilson, you don't  think planning for him becomes much easier with some tape?

  8. First time poster here,

Although I do agree that Sam still needs to show more but these pundits are discrediting and disrepecting Darnold and the Panthers because the schedule is weak.  Weren't  they the same pundits praised the Saints being Super bowl worthy after week1?  Listening to Aikman's drunk ass voice during the game, who in my belief is a above average QB that rode the coattails of the one of the greatest oline, rb ever plus hall of famers at wr, te, fb, head coach and all over the defense side, wasn't  annoying enough, that one dude was all hating on Sam and basically says as his wins are against high school JV squads.

So I looked up how superbowl bound browns did with their top3 oline, wrs, rb..and Baker.   Baker had 1 int and Houston was able to cause 3 fumbles and 2 sacks.  Houston may not be a good team bit their defense knows how to strip  balls and create turnover and rush the passer.

I hope we can shut the pieholes of these idiots by showing up against Dallas!

IMO, and I acknowledge it may be skewed by my own misguided perception of him, he has such a high average yards per carry because he can break monster runs. I really liked him coming out of college back in the day. But it has seemed to me that in the NFL as a runner he might run 10 times for 6 yards but then on that 11th carry he can break it off for a 60 yard score.

So I think his average might be a bit skewed by that? I just don't feel he's a consistent runner. Doesn't run particularly well between the tackles. But he has the ability to break one off and once he gets behind you, you likely aren't catching back up to him. I think that's why he evolved into a pass catching back. You don't want to hand it off to him over and over but get him in space and he can make something happen for you.

Either way, like you, I am a fan of his. He is a playmaker, even if a bit inconsistent. And he may be an ideal fit to play the CMC role until CMC can get back out there.

For a second there, I thought you were talking about Barry Sanders, lol.
