  1. I really wanted him in the 3rd this year, but our running game suprised me this year. I do think he's starting caliber.
  2. You might beat us Falcons once, but that's all I really see.
  3. So you rank Mac Jones over Trevor Lawrence? You, sir, are truly dim.
  4. Y'all people crazy. Ain't no way that Slater should be taken over Pitts. A Slater-level talent comes nearly every draft. But Pitts? You never see a specimen like him. Put it this way- I'd bet my last dollar on the fact that y'all would've rather us taken Tyron Smith than Julio. Any day of the week. Because you don't see a Julio every day.
  5. The fact that he had the best receivers and not even close to the best numbers. That he's the least mobile QB in the upper part of QBs. That that's what he was until 9ers moved up, and now he's top 3?
  6. See, though... I think Mac Jones is a second-round talent, inflated by the position he plays. Best-case scenario, he ends up not being a total bust and being a middle-of-the-pack QB. Worst case, someone wastes a first round pick.
  7. Speaking of terrible fashion, this ad happened to pop up on this thread
  8. Fair enough. To move up from 8, it would probably take a first this year, a third this year, and a first next year.
  9. Lots of speculation saying CAR likes Justin Fields. If he's there at 4, would you move up? No way he gets past DEN at 6, and while I don't think Darnold is a bad QB, Fields has a ridiculous ceiling. How much capitol would you give up?
  10. And ATL at 4, and MIA at 6, and DAL at 10, and on and on...
  11. WR's and QB's alone don't win Super Bowls. If so, Megatron and Stafford would have won like 5. You need a defence, and an O-Line. And to be fair, Matt Ryan is consistent enough that he should have had multiple rings right now. Probably would with better coaches.
  12. You're telling me. I don't even think that ATL knows what they're doing.
  13. The hope is that Dean Pees can get it up and running again. We have a lot of young talent in AJ Terrell, Grady Jarrett and Deion Jones. Also some good vets in Duron Harmon, Fabian Moreau, and Bark Mingo. They've also proved that they can ball (see-Vegas game last season). We just need consistency.
  14. Same. QB isn't a pressing need- Matt has 3-4 years left in the tank. Way I see it, we take Pitts, then get Najee if he's there at 35 or Chubba Howard in the 3rd.
  15. But you know DQ is gonna push likely for Surtain. On an unrelated note, good lord am I glad DQ got fired...
  16. It depends how far you trade back. That's a lot to ask if you trade back to the Cowboys. But if you trade with someone like Pittsburgh, that's nothing.
  17. I think either one, should they fall that far, could be dangerous in your offense. Lance would be better in the future after sitting behind Sam, but Fields could be your next Newton.
  18. I like him as a prospect. Probably my favorite QB other than Lawrence in this draft, but it's close between him and Fields. I like him, but he may not pan out.
