  1. I misspoke. I meant, at the time, I didn't think it was horrible. I'm old school and love a smash mouth running attack. Im always happy to get a potentially great rb. This one though, is looking like a miss. My point was I feel like it was worth the risk, at the time. Anytime you bet on something there is a chance you loose.
  2. I dont think it was a horrible pick. Chuba had shown flashes, but none of us knew he would be this good. Also we didn't really trade up to get him. We traded back up after trading back. We still ended up in the positive with picks after the trade, if memory serves me right. Brooks was picked pretty close to where he was expected to go. If not for the injury he would have likely been a 1st round pick. Sometimes you have to go for the risky pick. I thought the pick was great and was looking forward to seeing him play. You can never have too many weapons. Wish him the best and hopefully the pick will eventually work out. I feel like this draft was pretty solid, in comparison to others. Legette is in a funk, but has shown flashes of being really good. Sanders is looking like a steal, and Wallace looks like he could become a solid starter. Even a few of the late rounders have shown some promise to be able to contribute.
  3. I'm assuming he wont play at all next season either. Lets hope for the best in 2026.
  4. Me personally, I'm still not overly impressed by him. Dont get me wrong, he is a lot better. I still dont see him ever being much more than a game manager. However if he continues to play decent and improve the rest of the season, I'm all for giving him one more year. Would love to find a young-ish QB who is a backup somewhere, and has shown potential, to come in and compete next season. I believe his resurgence has a lot to do with him starting to believe in his coaches and teammates. Something that was impossible to do last season.
  5. Ive said it before and Ill say it again, I dont know why teams even attempt to pass against us. I would literally run it every single play.
  6. Heading up from Columbia. Finally an afternoon game where I can get some tailgating in. Smoked Queso, Honey Jalapeño Wings, Brats, and Smoked Picanha. And of course a healthy amount of beer. Let's show out Panthers fans! Hopeful for a big rowdy turnout.
  7. He did look really good in the KC game. The other 2 wins, not so much. He didn't make any real mistakes and that's a huge improvement in itself. He also had a really good game against Green Bay last year. I'm still not sold but no one would be more happy than me to be wrong.
  8. If we lose by less that 20 and look somewhat competitive, I'll be pleased.
  9. Can we make the black helmets our mains and the blue our home jerseys? Looks so much better.
  10. Can someone bring me back a couple of those Panthers Bier Steins?
  11. We have to reward hard work and never quit attitudes. Otherwise who would even try. Chuba earned this and I'm happy for him. I was not a fan of his until this season. He has actually put in work and improved each and every year. There are not many players on this team that can say that.
  12. It doesn't matter how many times you trot him out there and do analysis and break downs of his play. Bryce is not an NFL QB. He has no arm strength and throws his balls with zero velocity. His screen passes are even floaters that dont reach the target on time. He also has zero athletic ability. Most smaller QBs are fast and shifty. He doesn't even have that quality. Props to Bryce and his family for knowing how to market him. He's been in the spotlight his entire football playing life. They fleeced the entire NFL. He will make his millions and be out of the league in 2-3 years. This guy is not even a backup. The faster we move on from him, the faster we can recover from this massive massive mistake. Hopefully he is moved this off-season.
  13. Nix showing Bryce what a decent NFL QB looks like.
  14. First game I've been excited to attend in a couple of years at least! I hope the fans really show out today. I know I will. I miss exciting football more than anything. Hopefully the team can actually feed off of our energy for a change!
