  1. Not a fan of their food, and not a country music fan....except Chris Stapleton, but I consider him more blues/soul. Cheers to jamming with the down and dirty blues driving through the countryside.
  2. That’s all you can do....I always wait to voice an opinion that I might have to eat crow over, and I hate being wrong!
  3. Damn.....guys and going catty over the QB position....
  4. I think Robbie was not happy with Sam’s inability to get the ball in his hands as he thought he should while with the Jets. Justified. Imagine his frustration, the nfl is a business, and getting balls over, or under thrown or uncatchable is costing you money. Often that doesn’t allow you to see that your QB is frustrated as well, because he has no outlet (run game), crappy line, few dependable weapons, and coaching that handcuffs you from doing what you’re best at. Frustration, rather internal or vocal, leads to poor decisions. I feel for Robby, likely thinking “oh sh*t, here we go again”. As you say down here, hope “y’all” give it some time to work out.
  5. Haha, lightweight. I moved from SoCal to Tennessee a little over a year ago. The Mexican food is so awful here. I now make everything from scratch. My kids love it though.
  6. It’s worth the 7.99 monthly charge, that sale price is a steal. If you also follow college sports, better yet, you can learn about the players likely to declare for 2022.
  7. A name I know well, giving props to the D.....Willie still looks like he could suit up and play! Personally, I trust his word.
  8. That was great.....I got choked up on a few of those calls to those kids. Well done production, great insight.
  9. It’s all about your preference. Do you want your QB to entertain, even if that entertainment is sometimes cringeworthy, or do you want him to lead first? Deflecting from himself in victory, making it about the team, standing in front of his team to take the blunt for a loss? If the players know their QB respects and values his teammates above any attention he may receive, they will have his back
  10. A friend game me a ticket to a Monday night game at the Arizona Cardinals new stadium - at the time. Just the girls. The cowturds were the opposing team. We flew up Saturday, enjoyed some pampering before game day. We took a tram from the hotel to the stadium, and unfortunately it was filled with Dallas fans. Loud, brash in that grating Texas drawl, or whatever you call it. Top of their lungs. One male sitting across from me proceeds to put his dirty boots up on the seat next to me. Furious, I asked him if he had been raised in a barn...didn’t his mama ever tell him you don’t do that next to a lady? Stunned silence, feet withdrawn. Barbarians.
  11. Going to look that up, up for some entertainment....as for Aikman....U-C-L-A sucks, always has, always will.
  12. Hate to break it to ya...but that is as loose as he’s going to get with the media....his teammates are a different story. Before long, the comments will start coming out about his personality. You want a Cam or a Mayfield type? You’re going to be severely disappointed. Wait for your next QB.
  13. I HATE Dallas. I have my reasons, lol.
  14. Thank you for your answer, I am truly interested. Looks like Dallas and NO? TB....the franchise we lost our beloved John McKay too.....and he regretted leaving USC for, all of his days.
  15. Never knew NFL teams had rivals, or chants. Thought that was just college. I’ll ask an old John McKay question....which rival/opponent is the sweetest victory, which the most painful loss. Regardless of the opponents win/loss history?
  16. You should be able to tell if your QB signing from the Jets was a good move fairly quickly. By nature of the QB position, you get wild reactions from both ends of the spectrum. You can’t blame the most ardent fans that feel strongly that the franchise made a mistake trading for Sam, or the passion expressed for or against the move. It’s up to him to change minds. From what I know of him, he’s a tough dude. Everyone loves their team, want the best possible players that will uplift their franchise, feel frustration when a move in the most important position on the field is a retread. It is what it is, time will tell, and it will be sooner than drafting a rookie straight out of college.
  17. I’m sure a lot of football loving women across college and NFL, will never forget certain press conferences.
  18. Don’t hate any player, even opposing players. I’m a mom and a CFB fan, never boo’d a player in my life! This.
  19. Sorry, my post was more tongue in cheek, mixed in with a little snark....
  20. Good is not good enough, till you win a Super Bowl, no? Sadly, he is remembered outside the Panther and Auburn fan base for the eccentricities mentioned. A good player can just play for a bad team without weapons and a not so good oline, and not win the Lombardi. He couldn’t lift them up that high. Some fans would prefer an Eli Manning, who played ok, not much charisma, but came up big in the clutch on the biggest stage.
  21. Key word in your statement is consistently win jump balls....no QB should put his WR in that position, but should have a WR that CAN do it if need be. All I can give you as an example is a JuJu or Pittman type of guy.
  22. He just has to prove “his game” wins the games that are on the line....he has the weapons now, doesn’t have to take those boneheaded desperation shots to WRs that are not capable of going up and bringing in contested shot. His flaws are free game right now, till, or if, he can turn his performance from that nightmare franchise he was previously with.
