  1. The dude was solid his whole entire career and in the biggest game of our history has kickoff like that.
  2. Not a lazy take. I wasn't dissecting film just having fun doing a write up. CJs offense was more down the field. And I will give.you that. The man has very good.touch on deep balls. Very good. But I notice quite of a few of those type throws on a one step drop back. Which tells me it's a timing throw and not a read. Many of his throws down field looked that way.
  3. Simmer down killer. Cam had his share of the responsibility too..he's not absolved. We can't sit here and act like he couldn't have gotten on that fumble.
  4. Glad you didn't forget your trousers that'd be embarrassing. But also understandable. The hype is real.
  5. Bc it took twice as many takes to convince yourself he's better than Bryce.
  6. Cheers. I held off as long as I could bud. I just need this MFN draft to happen.
  7. I'll just leave it at this. Those RBs mentioned take far more hits from the biggest players in the game. Your burying yourself with your own argument. The positions don't matter. They all take hits. Anywho, we agree to disagree. Thanks for the banter.
  8. This is my hot take. No disrespect Cameron Jarrell Newton. You changed the lives of us Panther fans. And Delhomme, man you came out of nowhere and put us on the map. But Bryce, wee little ole Bryce. He's destined to be the black cat. Small. Almost too small. Very easily could be bad luck, but there is just something about the kid. He always manages to show up in the right moments. Cam was hit or miss, some games he would take over and some games he would disappear. Almost Weird, when you think about it, with how big of a personality and electrifying he could be. But he fell short in the Superbowl..a common factor between him and Jake. Jake was lightning in a bottle. And while I love the guy, that's all I can say. They let us down. But Bryce was born for this. The last name. The timing, the situation, the boldness of our franchise to go after him. When nothing but doubt surrounding us we throw our entire franchise on the back of a kid who is smaller than the average man. It's almost heroic. The story sounds scripted. But you know what. So was David in his battle vs Goliath. And just like David, Bryce will tackle this beast terrorizing our franchise since it's inception. And he's going to do it in the exact same way David did too. With precision. Davids pinpoint accuracy allowed him to hit Goliath square between his eyes, knocking him to the ground just long enough for David to decapitate him. Bryce has this same killer instinct. And we've never once witnessed this in Charlotte. His ability to read the defense, his commitment to being a student of the game. His pocket awareness. His football IQ is through the roof, and it all shows on tape. I admit, I was skeptical. I bought the pessimistic, and naive point of view that he might not be able to take a hit. But then I realized the kids been playing football his whole life. Made it to the top program in college football, who has had some huge names at the position..and left the school as the greatest QB to ever take a snap at such an iconic school. He's over adversity before. He's taken hits before. And he will again. As the Carolina Panthers New franchise QB. The one that finally takes care of business. Oh yeah, and sorry. Cj just isn't that guy. Watch the film some more. And tell me who improvs more, who throws tds to the second read more. No disrespect to the guy..I wish him well. But if we take him it's a mistake. And I'll hang on that take. And eat my plate of crowpie if it doesn't come to fruition. I'm all in on Bryce.
  9. It is insignificant. The dude has more pocket awareness than any QB we have ever had under center in Carolina. His ability to read a defense and understand situational football and his feel in the pocket renders all of that insignificant. Football is a dangerous game, and size plays a role in the trenches but not in his position as much. Sure being bigger helps, but it doesn't make or break a QB. Go tell Darren Sproles, Barry Sanders, Ladanian Tomlinson, Steve Smith, Bob Sanders, Kyler Murray, Wes Welker, Antoine Winfield they're to small to play in this league. I could go on and on and on with SOOO many more names. And everyone of those players faced off against the very same monsters Bryce Young will. And in an era of football that Bryce will never have to face. Being hyper focused on height and weight and completely disregarding his special skillsets makes me hopeful our new and improved staff aren't as naive. Football is a game of chess, and will power. And if your heart is bigger than the next guy, it doesn't matter how big you are you can find a way to beat him. But hey sure, let's ignore a once in a generation mind at the position cuz he's "small".
  10. He literally just said he was going to be at the line of scrimmage more. He didn't say Linebacker. He didn't say safety or Big Nickel only at the LOS more. Which is exactly where he needs to be.
  11. Your concerns were argued by your own point. You point out his mental game, stress how smart he is. Which indicates someone intelligent enough to protect his body. Only to turn around and say he's probably too fragile. If he is a High IQ ball player then he knows how to protect himself from career changing injuries. And besides, if he sustained success in the highest rated conference in college football against future pro level athletes I think he can do it at the next level. The size thing is getting old honestly. There have been plenty of smaller QBs that were successful and durable. Russell Wilson was notorious for getting out of trouble in a saavy way and always finding a way to get down without taking a shot.
  12. Yeah, fair enough. I mean that's his only hope, to be a useful backup. I hope for the best I'm just not to optimistic on that guy, and have grown quite sick of hoping for a guy to not be what he's looked like.
  13. Probably bc he doesn't consider any of the QBs on the roster in any potential role on this team. Our QB room is the weakest in the NFL. Matt Corral is unlikely the answer to that glaring need either.
  14. Yeah I gotta do better. I re-read, and the reference went right over my head. Sometimes jogging my memory isn't enough, sometimes it needs a good sprint. I blame it on my early 20s
  15. Because people that believe what they are spoon fed have always been the delusional ones. It's just more of the majority now that see through the veil of bs that we are all being given. My question to it all, why is Goodell and the NFL so adamant about making sure we know that they are an entertainment industry. The only other professional sports league that does this is the NBA, and there has been multiples instances of games being set up and offer the proof your so adamant on requesting. I don't see the NFL being much different. But hey, I could be wrong. But id rather be skeptical and wrong, than drink the bleach water.
  16. I always dismissed it myself. At this point you can't believe anything you see in the media these days. On any front.
  17. There is logic and reason behind my statement. Only a fool would think otherwise. I bet you pay your tax dollars too, and say, well at least it goes to keep up our roads. It's for a good cause.
  18. That's the story I'll tell my kids. Hahaa
  19. Lord. This is a football forum. And a football topic. Not Voter fraud. If you want proof go get somebody else to do it. It's Moneyday.
  20. Yeah, my bad I got a family and stuff. I've been checked out for the last 5 years. Still a diehard, just more meh about it these days. If my measurements as a Carolina panther fan is all I fall short on in life I'm ok with it. Carolina has fell short on many promises too.
  21. Oh yeah I absolutely couldn't prove people are greedy especially sports owners
  22. You still talking about betting. Go gamble bro. I really don't care how you spend your indentured dollars. Once again, if money is involved. People get greedy. And when people get greedy, they set things up in their favor to win money. If your so naive to not believe so. Then you my friend, are living in la la land. You caught me, I don't bet. I was pointing out that people do. And more money is made for the house when thing go how they expect. And btw, who is the house? Is it the NFL?
  23. Human nature is to lie. Ask Jesus, that's the only facts you need. The games are decided by humans. Officials. Owners. Players. All of it.
