  1. Been here since the inaugural season, just held on to long. And now I'm WOKE or whatever the kids say these days.
  2. Lols the two teams with some of the highest number Superbowl rings. They gave their cash cows the glory first. Now it's time to build the brang bigger. More billions and trillions to go around.
  3. Dang. Bringing up the history. My B! We definitely had zero calls go our way in crunch time of many of those important ball games.
  4. To think of it. Cam does seem pretty well off. Think he actually could've jumped on that fumble? Btw I'm a Cam fan before I get flamed. Signed rookie photo from him. And went to plenty of games during his tenure.
  5. Yep. Lol post game already bringing up the Kelce bowl. Imagine that, the same year their podcast blows up.
  6. Bruh. I understand the friggin line dude. Once again the point I'm making is if where there is betting, there is a potential to be rigged. People stand to get rich from a money line, seems to easy to drop a pass, or make a bad call.
  7. As usual. I'm late to the show. Guess that's why I've never placed a bet
  8. The odds are narrowed down to a point where the house usually wins. The point I am bringing up is if there is betting involved it seems to beneficial to rig the games. I'll still watch lol I love football. My gut just tells me something ain't lining up.
  9. Fight me. This is an entertainment program. This isn't competitive sports. To many stories line up to increase the talking points (the Kelce brothers), Mahomes on a Brady chase, the refs making questionable calls in favor of only one direction. You name it, no way so many coincidence. It all just seems odd to me. I could be wrong. But in a sports betting world, how does the house know where to bet. It's only when they know the odds, or control the deck. All just seems to scripted to me. I literally could've guessed the outcome of this game after the first quarter.
  10. The simple fact of hiring a guy just bc he is an OC is simple. Maybe stating an offensive mind would make more sense when making your statement. All those guys are head coaches now who had to put together a staff. They don't just call plays.
  11. Andy Reid is the best coach of them all, he's been here a minute. And I would argue the other 3 teams all have significant experience and time in the NFL too. You can't just go cherry pick the OCs from those teams and expect results. It takes an entire staff, give me the guy that knows his limits, and fills all the holes with proven men who've coached men. Taking a dart throw on a hot name worked out well with us with the last guy huh?
  12. Finally someone said it. Majority of the huddles criteria....young offensive coordinator on recently successful team=success. As if offense is the only side of the ball that matters, let alone all the other details that come with being coach outside of play calling.
  13. The only teams left are teams who do the basics well. No matter the level. Run the ball, stop the run, and play hard defense. If you get any team doing that, when it comes down to it you will win more often than not. The passing game is very important now, to keep teams honest. But without the run game, the passing game gets significantly harder to be efficient with. Most football Stan's don't recognize this and want the new shiny WR1s and fancy new offensive schemes. Kyle Shanahan is who I'd be looking for, someone with great run design with a well built machine. And doing it with a nobody at Qb.
  14. Oh look. Another post about an upcoming OC, who has reaped the benefits of the previous coaching staff and jumped in on their draft picks only to be seen as the next coming of Sean McVay only to realize the dude has less than 10 years experience in the NFL has even less as an OC and zero as a head coach. Watch who wins the super bowl bet he isn't someone like this guy. And don't get me wrong, I'm all for taking something fresh and new. Especially in Carolina. But let's not be naive, and stop expecting some guy to come in and re-invent the wheel. Head Coach is only a part of a big ass shepherds pie. And if one thing ain't right it all turns out to be a big slopping almost inedible mess. Give me a guy with enough experience, but still young enough to have energy, who maybe got dealt a bad card, and who still found some success at their position. Who comes from a winning pedigree, who oozes a particular confidence that would lead to a culture. Not just some guy that draws X's and O's. There is just so much more to the sport than offense. And play calling. And people who see it that way just don't know the game.
  15. That's stupid AF tho, bc they're one of the better WR duos in the league. There are only a handful of studs that would replace them. Adams. Jefferson. Cooper Kupp type guys.
  16. You were always a saints fan at heart anyway. don't come back when the tide changes.
  17. Listen the dude is talented. You don't make it to the pros and not be at least somewhat talented. I'm not going to sit and pick him apart bc there is a lot to like. He seems to plant that front foot, and rely on his arm strength quite a bit, and coming from an RPO offense, and to the preseason it seems to take him a bit to long to move on reads. Those things couple together can spell trouble if he's indecisive, foot gets planted and he's staring down a read..he showed this in the preseason as I mentioned. He seems indecisive, and a bit paranoid in the pocket. Which may loosen with reps. I just haven't seen enough to bank on him, and that's all I've been saying all along. You can't bank on ifs at the position. He needs time to grow. And we don't have time. So if he pans out who knows, I just think it's a very small chance it's here.
  18. Lmao ok buddy. And what facts do you stand on that Corral will be starting, much less in a backup role. He barely even had a completion in the opportunities he's had..and then based on the only other body of work which is college, he did nothing to set himself apart. This is all based on what we know and statistics which is all we have to go by. Your saying he's good. So how are you not the one staying opinions like they are fact? Are you a Democrat?
  19. His traits being that his throwing mechanics are terrible. Pocket awareness is non existent. And based on the offenses that he has been a part of, which is all we have to go by at this point, shows that he has a minimal knowledge of the game. Most colleges do not run an advanced offensive game compared to the NFL level. I don't want to rule him out, I hope he does good. Saves us money, and draft picks. I just don't see it based on the facts and history of the guy at the position..I'm sorry that hurt you and the other guy commenting feelings. Footwork, Mechanics, Knowledge of the game all seem lackluster. He does seem to have the mindset so there is that. But that has taken him this far, the rest will be determined how much he can retain and put into play. Maybe he will get more of an opportunity bc it is fair to say he didn't get the reps. But at the same time those reps had to be earned and he has been able to do that as of yet. We shall see, if he ever even steps on the field in a starting role, temporarily or permanent, just seems unlikely. Just not sure why so many are obsessed with a below average QB, that really hasn't shown much. But hey, go off. It really doesn't make a difference to me. I just want to see competent QB play and a glorified Will Greer is what he strikes me off as. And Greer had a better college career and has managed to make the field on game days LOL
  20. Yeah you know nothing about me personally. I want us to win lol, that's why I think betting on Corral is a pipe dream..I've laid out my facts and reason on other posts. I'll let you go on your rant.
  21. Funny, 1 TD and 257 yards/ game with less than 70% completion percentage on average spells doesn't spell world beater to me. Not to mention in college, they were averaging less than 30 attempts per game, which tells me they preferred running the ball. Kind of like the Panthers now, who can't trust their passing game. Pat Mahomes for example, averaged 421 yds and over 3 tds per game with his arm. Let's assume legs equate to the same skill level, which they don't because Mahomes awareness is through the roof, and he is 3xs the QB Corral was statistically in comparison of their best seasons in college. These are the types of guys who win Superbowls in the NFL, and if you wanna sit here and tell me otherwise..you are most.likely the one with little to no football knowledge. I could scheme you under the table, I've coached I've played, and I've scouted. I've studied this game. And while your entitled to your opinion, your also entitled to being disagreed with. Matt Corral has yet to prove himself to be nothing more than an athlete that throws. Until he doesn't look like a scared little girl in anything other than a preseason game, against college level 2s and 3s(which he should be used to) under center then we can talk. Until then, go ride his elsewhere.
  22. What traits? The only traits that matter are the one that are proven. He's shown little awareness. The only thing I will give you is his drive could help him succeed. The guy seems to want to win. But wanting to, and actually doing are two different things. The fact that just because someone disagreeing with you gets you so upset is kind of joke to me. Shows me that you have a bias towards the dude. I'm looking at him objectively like all of our QBs. He can't make the field with our worst possible QB locker room, he damn sure ain't good enough to make us competitive.
