  1. Trying to take away 6 big carries and chopping it up to bad tackling is an insanely bad take. What Rico did today was nothing short of amazing. He put the team on his back. And I’ll even go as far to give the panthers credit for actually recognizing the run was effective. Also Kudos to the OLine and even the receivers for great blocking to accomplish it. just a straight up dookie take.
  2. It’s obvious man Rico is running wild all over these bums. The minute we need to throw the drive stalls
  3. Bryce and the fact that this team always seems ill prepared makes it glaringly obvious. it just sucks man we have had a QB Coach carousel and doing it again feels just as dumb. But we know what we’ve got here and it ain’t hitting on much.
  4. The whole team looks awful. Jaycee Horn is looking like poo today too. only one playing ball is Derrick Brown
  5. Yeah your right good point. Sometimes it’s easy to forget we have the freedom of thought. if you actually read my original comment you would have noticed I said the same. Not that it was slim to none only acknowledging I can’t predict the future or in another opportunity he may be better. It actually happens all the time(Sam Arnold, Daniel jones, Baker mayfield) I even said he’s not our guy in this post and in multiple others. In fact I’ve been very critical of the dude
  6. You think it is an error to believe that Bryce may have been a more consistent player under a well rounded team with a coach that uses him in an advantageous way? that’s not delusion. I never said that he would be a hall of famer, or that he would even be a serviceable starter. Only that he may have turned it around which under the current circumstances means just mediocre play. not once did I even mention in the slightest that he could have ever been a top tier talent. reading comprehension is key especially in a forum.
  7. This is what Bryce is in the NFL. You will see a glimpse here and there. But he can no longer hide from his abilities anymore. Above average through high school and college equates to middling or below average in the NFL. Then you factor in his limits due to his size, being thrown into a garbage franchise with a turn-style at the head coach and coordinator spots. It results in the Bryce you now have. had he been allowed to develop under the right conditions it’s possible Bryce turns it around, and still may. But just not in a panthers uniform. You need all world talent to win in charlotte under the current circumstances even a second coming of Cam newton would still be sub-500 with the occasional blow up seasons if there is continuity on the roster and staff. it is what it is man. No hope left here in charlotte currently
  8. Hey I take that personal lol. I was a QB twice his size only some athletic deficiencies and a mediocre arm and I do pretty well in insurance. Don’t compare us to Bryce young
  9. You’re not wrong, hopefully he proves us wrong. But it’s hard to have faith with what he puts on film. If he were to get more creative with his legs and open up avenues I think it could go a long way with us. But he definitely will never be a Josh Allen, Pat Mahomes when it comes to arm talent and ability to make things happen. the good news is big games have been won with ball control, and game managers at QB. So if we can put a roster around him for now we should be able to keep searching for that guy while he holds down the fort.
  10. Them playing behind a couple more seasoned guys until they get familiar with coverage and pace of play is a good thing though. We really can use them to spell the other guys, and in situational ball especially with Ransom on possible run/blitzing downs.
  11. I think completion percentage is a bit of a overinflated stat for a qb too. People place to much stock into it. So many factors to consider with it : receivers, how many attempts are made deep, the defense etc all play a roll in it. When it’s considerably low 50% or less the QB accuracy can come into question. But I don’t think it’s necessarily one of the better percentages to put so much importance into for that position. General effectiveness is far more indicative of the QB you have. First downs, 3rd and 4th down conversions, points scored and clutch plays IMO is how you grade a QB. Always bothered the poo out of me how people downed Cam for his completion percentage and that’s what they used to disregard him as an all time great. Dude damn near averaged 3tds to 1 turnover a game and was an obvious difference maker for us.
  12. I’m on board with this. We need to start by beating division.
  13. Trevin Wallace’s is just alright, he made more plays this week. But Rozeboom is a really bad tackler. Like how is that your job in the pros and you’re that bad. If we get one good ILB then we are set
  14. I know I’m a Tet fan and I picked him in fantasy football too. But today was a dub. I’m happy about it.
  15. If Bryce turns the ball over in the first 3 drives we are cooked
  16. Accepting defeat is not an attribute that’s relevant to a fan. Player maybe, yeah I think they wanna win. but as a fan this product ain’t good enough to be Atlanta from my observations we can’t stop the run, and we can’t score. They run the ball well. And get the ball out quick just not a good match up
  17. Because Bryce sucks. QB is THE most important position on the field and we have the worst possible option in the league.
  18. If he even did that we win this game today, but he poo his pants everytime he felt pressure. The refs tried to give him that one and he couldn’t even get a completion
  19. That’s the crazy part too. Because we just need Bryce to not be absolute cheeks. And we can’t even get that. its frustrating.
  20. I think it suck’s all together. Because we all wanted it for Bryce. And I don’t think any more so than he did for himself at all. But when you watch this Sunday night game with Ravens and Bills. It’s clear, guys like Lamar and Josh Allen are just in a different stratosphere. What we all thought would be Bryce isn’t it. Even old heads like Rodger’s still out here dicing up defenses, and it just seems like the game is too big for Bryce. Going from a guy like Cam, you can just see that big men win football games. And if you small you better be quick af. hopefully he can turn it around, I mean quick too. I’ll be watching in Arizona, but I won’t be expecting much that’s for sure.
  21. I think they just play different rolls. Run formations is tremble passing downs is JT. Running a two TE set can be helpful too and it’s not like Tommy is terrible at running routes. I think we’re just better with them both
  22. Zero signs of life is a stretch there was a lot of energy early and we won the entire first half with what was likely the guys in the middle of the roster and very little starters. Our back-up QB is a problem and we still need to find something LBs. but overall tonight was the first game I saw life. After the 3rd quarter those are the last guys up on both rosters
